Someone posted these compilation of Avril Lavigne's two concerts in Glasgow during The Best Damn Tour (2008). I personally hate this tour but I miss 2008 so badly compared to the current days. I don't actually like The Best Damn Tour much. I just find it much too ... choreographed or something? I'm totally missing a word here right now, and it's driving me crazy! I just prefer something that seems more improvised, something simple, like The Bonez Tour. Anyway, the first few minutes of video #1 I kept thinking "wow, Avril looks so young, it's incredible how much more mature she's become within just a few years." Then I realized that these videos are nearly exactly 10 years old. Time really does fly... I totally love the way she screams that "if I don't get my way" in IAGWIW (2:55 of video #1, 9:05 of video #2). She has such an incredibly strong voice. She could probably do scream-rock and totally rule it.  And is it only the light, or did Avril really have not only pink but also purple streaks in her hair? (3:53 of video #1) |
