The article was made back in August when they wanted to release the album in early 2019. It seems that they moved the album to December 2018. The insider said it last week and it seems to be legit since they wanted to release it in 2019 and it's reflected in the article. no, friend. it’s the complete opposite. it will be released next year. not this year. |

Honestly, between an early 2019 release (which could be January) and December as the insider said, there is 1 month of difference

that’s the thing. neither she nor BMG ever really confirmed this year. I’m glad they’re finally saying that it will be next year!! they did actually. avril said at MSS event the album will be out later THIS YEAR, and BMG frontman said BMG releasing the album in Q4..................... |

BMG president said AFTER this article written in August, that the album is coming this year. I still have faith and I rather wait for an official announcement that a Billboard article.

Okay since everybody is impressing their feeling I will my own. I'm so angry they pushed the album for early 2019. Or did they? Somebody said the insider told this and that... but can we trust a noname source about this? If the original plan was to release the album in 2019 THEN they decided to move it to december 2018, why they didnt edited this article? I mean its not a cheap magazine to let the wrong information be there, like the album is coming guys in 2019 and then they release it this year, that would be just super bad and unprofessional imo. Other thing, yeah, early 2019 can mean january, but also can mean (we all know miss Lavigneand BMG) can easily mean march or even april for them, and sorry, that is like more 3-4 months to wait.
As I said before when we were waiting for the album "the era hasnt started yet but already is a mess", and after this whole article about literally NOTHING, I started to think again, that this era is a mess.
So is the album is coming REALLY this year like Avril said on the MSS interview, and BMG also published it on an article, that they are planning the release at Q4? Or like... is it coming sometimes in 2019? If yes, will they delay it more?

like I said. fans need to shut their mouth when it comes to leaked information because that will cause literally everything Avril + BMG have been planning to shift and change accordingly. you really think BMG re-planned the whole release date because the info was leaked by someone (NOT FANS) ON THAT WEBSITE ABOUT THE ALBUM? AND WHY FANS HAS TO SHUT THEIR MOUTH? we obviously will talk about the little infos or leaks when we get them after waiting a lifetime for the album

About the early 2019 release: I don't think BMG postponed the album because of all those leaks. I mean, why would they? As some kind of revenge? "You guys leak stuff, now the price you'll have to pay is more waiting"? That would be so childish and stupid. Anyway, I've seen BMG actually release stuff EARLIER due to leaks.
No, there must be another reason for them to release the album in early 2019 instead of late 2018. Maybe they hadn't expected HAW to do that well? Maybe they'd thought it would do okay and then about 1,5 months later they could drop the second single and then another 1,5 months later the album, which would have been December 2018. But HAW has been doing great so far, people still talk about it a lot. There doesn't seem to be any need for a second single yet. If I were BMG, I'd let people enjoy HAW for one more month and then release the second single mid-November, let people enjoy that new song for a while, and then it's already 2019 anyway.

As I said a thousand times, the problem for me is not the long wait. The problem is that they keep telling us things and nothing is really concrete. First 2017, then later this year (2018), now early 2019. NEVER GIVING US AN EXACT DATE. I hate this feeling of waiting for something but not knowing when it's coming. I was happy because it seemed close, but it looks like it's not. I quit forums and fan sites and stuff like that, it was good to interact with you guys for these 2 years. Bye.
