Let’s try to appreciate Avril for herself only and what’s she’s doing only, not saying “oh she’s so Taylor in that”, gets tiring and annoying. Cause in the end it’s her music with her lyrics anyways

I wouldn't say Taylor is "above" Avril's songwriting skills, vocals, or anything other than popularity tbh.

Let’s keep the TS talking for the TS thread  It’s funny how with all this lyric-teasing and previews that confirm something is coming right away, some of you think we won’t get anything until next year , or even by the end of November. Guys, this is most likely coming out this week or next. Second singles are never announced so anticipatedly. They’re usually “hey, let’s tease for a couple of days and bam!, second single’s out”, like RNR. |

I don’t know if I’d go that far lol These lyrics are good by Avril’s standards. Not quite Speak Now/Red level good though. I don’t think anyone has released anything nearly as epic as All Too Well, tbh lol. But this might be the one to top it. |

Oh how I wish Avril did stick to the mold of teasing then bam! Single out but she doesn't. It's tease, finally tell us a date that happens to be a week or worse 2 weeks until the song finally comes out....at noon on a Wednesday instead of the beginning of the day...yes I'm still bitter, let me be.
Which reminds me you think this time she will release on a Friday like other artists?

She’s definitely releasing something soon. It makes no sense teasing lyrics with a new photoshoot for nothing.
And the album is coming in February, it’s November now. It’s not like we are in August, the album will come in three months and they need to create hype.
HAW is freefalling in Spotify, it’s time for a new single.

I see some of you guys are angry at BMG for not promoting HAW more, using its success to sell the album but what if that was always the plan? Her second single is probably gonna be that pop hit-kinda song that most of us wouldn't have wanted Avril to release as the first song after her illness and aim for a more serious image. I feel like HAW was more for us, the fans, and the second single is gonna appeal to (even more) people that will also pre-order the record. It's a win-win, everyone will be happy. And I'm sure it's gonna be pop and fun but with a grown-up message.
