Why would they redo all the Rotem songs? You think the label would just throw away money like that? Avril can’t just do whatever she wants on a whim. The label aren’t gonna pay for well known producer then just scrap it all cos Avrils in a strop with him.

But anyways, HAW is kinda proof that she reworked many of their songs. She worked with Rotem for months and that means that they worked in many songs not 2-3 like singers usually work with producers. I would like to hear their work together but last year I was scared of Rotem being the only/main producer of the album. Also only the rotem songs are the ones that are being registered, I don't think she wants to reveal the tracklist now, all the leaked titles do not mention Rotem (Dumb Blonde. it was in me, souvenir, etc and any of these songs is registered yet). Birdie was registered with Rotem, but it could be the same case that with HAW having another producer. But if they reworked the songs it will only in production and some lyrics. On HAW Avril and Travis wrote the entire song and Chad recorded her vocals, so the Rotem version is different only in sound. The producer sometimes get a writing credit for even just 1 word. |

Who came up with the idea that Rotem produced HAW and they re-did it? Any sources for that?
Even her official website mentions Rotem so I'm pretty sure at least one of his songs made the final cut.

Wow for Rotem to be completely removed from any accreditation on Head Above Water, they would have had to virtually start again with the song. Would be interesting to hear the Rotem version!
Avril must be pretty miffed off at Rotem for her to make sure his name isn't associated with her most personal song to date.

At this point, I have really no idea why all this silence, but knowing that the album will be out in February, that's what I'm looking forward to.
