The more I see the cover the more I like it. At least she has taken risks and it’s not the typical studio photo like Mariah Carey does for every album. The editing is weird tho but not bad at all.
The tracklist is for me the most interesting one of all her six albums:
01. Head Above Water: Amazing song and lead single.
02. Birdie: It sounds like a beautiful tinny piano ballad with lovely vocals and melody. It’s placed after the lead and at number two so it must be important.
03. I Fell In Love With The Devil: It’s self-produced so I don’t know what to expect. It might be one of my favourites judging by the title.
04. Tell Me It’s Over: a ballad/mid tempo for sure. We’ll find out on Wednesday but I expect a power ballad with heavy vocals and so epic.
05. Dumb Blonde: the bop of the album for sure. They’ll keep it until the album.
06. It Was In Me: A ballad for sure. And I think it will be one of the most powerful ones.
07. Souvenir: who knows. The title seems to be out of place in this album but it might end being an interesting bop.
08. Crush: I think it’ll be an accoustic song (like Push) with lyrics about love.
09. Goddess: I would have never expected a title like this for Avril. I think it will be a sexy anthem with jazzy vibes.
10. Bigger Wow: Despite people thinking this will be about Chad’s dick, I believe it will have a completely different meaning. I don’t know what to expect but I love these surprises.
11. Love Me Insane: I’m 99% sure this song is the one described with the loud guitars. It sounds to me like Bad Girl did back in those days.
12. Warrior: A piano ballad which will close the album. I think it will be beautiful but not the best ballad of the album.

Don't know if this has been posted, but Avril can kiss goodbye to 'baby its cold outside' being heard on radio stations - the song is being pulled off-air by many big radio stations in Canada and US because of controversy. |

Maybe you're the one who should be busy living life. You're the one who's wasting time being on an Avril fan messageboard where all your doing is complaining and saying she's a disappointment. It maybe "only music" to you but many fans have been waiting and looking forward to new album from her for a while and now it's coming so nows probably not the best time for your freedom of opinions. Again I usually ignore this but please don't start fighting with each other. Some love what Avril is doing some hate it and some are okay with it. It's okay to have an opinion. Please don't say it's not the best time for your freedom of opinions. We're on an Avril forum to discuss her work. Everyone's opinion is going to be different. In the end I think we're all happy she is returning with music and that's all that matters. 🙂 I understand that and I do respect others opinions but I don't understand why you would come onto an artists fan page that you don't even like. I don't like Eminem so I don't go to his fansites and express my dislike with people who do. I love Avril but when I read others comments "on her work" that they don't like her and say shes a disappointment it actually kind of puts me off her and I'm sorry but she's about to release an album and nows not the time where I want to be put off listening to it. |

But nice to finally have the tracklist and look forward to hearing it. Hoping there's 2 or 3 good songs on there and some self-written too that i can enjoy. Not a huge fan of lots of writing collaborators,

I was hoping for at least 13/14 tracks but if I like the 12 and it's solid overall I'll live with it.
I'm not going to judge titles ike Bigger Wow until I hear the song. You can never tell from a title. I actually like that she's got some more creative titles in there.
The cover is an interesting concept that I like. Most of her covers are just photos of her for the most part. She obviously has ideas for more than just songs this time around and is thinking of the album as a whole package which I like. The execution isn't the absolute best but hey, still better than the AL cover

The most popular comment is about the 12 tracks on the album, at least she knows some fans are not happy with the songs and the cover. She obviouly noticed that comment too.

I’m no Photoshop expert so honestly these supposed editing mistakes really means nothing to me. I love the cover, love the concept. So different than anything she’s done before. Love the font too. I’m glad it’s not the pic we all thought and that it’s a totally different shoot.
Bigger Wow is a dumb title but I won’t judge it till we hear the song. I love the title Goddess too. I like that she’s gone for some creative and unique titles this time around.
