Why?

I just realised that the song almost has its one year anniversary. Can you believe it, guys? 
Come to think of it: One year ago Avril was teasing us, we were all SOOOOO hyped because things finally started to happen.

In a few days, she starts off her US tour, and I must say I'm a bit worried. What if this tourleg doesn't have the success Avril/her management is aiming for? She'll have to make desicions on whether or not going for another tour leg in SA, Asia and Europe. 
I mean: Head Above Water didn't get ANY airplay on radiostations in my country. Throughout the year, I heard HAW twice, and that was as background music (only instrumentally) during episodes of The Voice. One of my colleagues found me with the songbook from LG the other day (I work at a public library), I told her I'm a fan, and she was like: "Oh, nice. Does she still make music? Haven't seen anything from her in ages!" So I hurried to tell her about everything that's happened the last years and the upcoming tour. She didn't care, hehe. 

To me, it feels weird that HAW came out as the first single almost a year ago. Why? Well, because in my country, Avril is totally out of the picture. I requested HAW several times in different radioshows, but I didn't even get a reply from the hosts! 

Ah well, worst case scenario: me watching low quality fanvideos on YouTube 

Sorry if this post is a bit all over the place (I'm sure it would fit in the Tour thread as well), but I just needed to get this off my chest. :-)

I think the tour will do decently. She's never gonna have the success she used to but at least her team had the sense to book smaller venues this time. I think she'll play overseas regardless of how the US tour does. From what Rodney said, it sounded like international shows were a possibility. I also think she'd sell out more venues overseas than here anyway since her fanbase is mostly international now.

I don't think she'll have extensive shows in the UK like a lot of fans want her to, but she will probably hit up the main cities like London and Manchester, then maybe a show in Ireland.

Time really does fly! It seems like yesterday we had this new song released. One or two things are for sure, it still gives me goosebumps to this day and it is definitely her strongest/my personal favorite lead single of hers to date. Happy 1st year, HAW!!

This is not my favorite kind of music to listen to. I'm basically an old school rock n roller. However, when I stumbled upon this a few days ago, I gave it a full listen. It gave me a warm nostalgic feeling. I have to say, this song is really a great piece of work.❤
