I honestly think that "One of Those Girls" is her most underrated songs. The chord progression on that song is amazing. Especially at the very end (listen to the instrumental). It's a fun song, but at the same time seems to strike some kind of emotional key. Something about the lyrics and theme of the song, and the post chorus as well has a pretty emotional-ish melody.

Hello Kitty and I'm not even kidding. (Talking about the song, not the video) Sure, the production is not brilliant and it's nothing she's ever done before. But noone seems to appreciate that she went out of her comfort zone. Also the lyrics are way more creative and funny than "*random line* and we never gonna change" (all eyes on you, HTNGU  ) |

I honestly dont know what is popular among fans. So I should set standard as whether they are single worthy. Here are the most underrated songs in my heart that few of us mention
Let Go: Anything But Ordinary
I think this speaks her general attitude in life no matter what aspect of it. This should be the closing single. It's a deeper depth of her instead of a song being about one thing. Yeah, this song deserves a single more than just a track, thats why I think it's underrated
Under My Skin: Take Me Away
Since My Happy Ending and He Wasn't were single which really pushed her "punk" image. I don't think this song should be missed. It's kind of abstract yet a very up tempo song, a signature character of punk rock. Punk and deep kind of what is Avril's music about
The Best Damn Thing: Contagious
Romantic punk rock love song
Goodbye Lullaby: Remember When
Such a sad song, naked emotion simply with piano. In the bridge, I chill.
Self-titled: Hush Hush
Someone say it sounds like from Goodbye Lullaby but I think it is quite piano-leading even more than GL, piano never off. It got beat, emotion. It's a direction to Head Above Water (of cource HAW songs are more refined and developed).

LG: Too Much Too Ask (this song is so good! Always one of my faves)
UMS: Take Me Away (sets the tone for the album and is strong)
TBDT: Contagious (should've been a bit longer too)
GL: Not Enough (pure perfection)
AL: Hello Kitty (it was really something new but the music fits/flows really good and the lyrics well tho they don't make sense it's something else then partying, drinking etc.)
