Okay now that Im hearing this in full I think the chorus is not the strongest, but I like the verses a lot. It kind of sounds like something that couldve come out inbetween GL and AL, also sounds a bit like tell me its over during the bridge. If they reworked some of the lyrics (like "maybe we were baby" it sounds weird to me idk) it couldve worked really well on HAW. But the theme of the song seems almost too personal (reminds me of Deryck) so maybe thats why it wasnt released.

I won't post any link out of Youtube because it's against the rules, but anyways I wanted to inform that Lucky Ones with a slightly better quality in the audio is available somewhere. I'm not an expert of these things but some of you may appreciate the difference between 120, 160, 180 kps and stuff like that. I don't know if the one posted on Youtube is already the better version 😅 I hope a better quality version of Eternally will be available too but I doubt it because otherwise it would already be out after the long time it leaked. My bet is that either Sharing Platforms used to store and send files, "compress" them automatically to make them less heavy for sharing (and it could be the case of the 2 versions of Lucky Ones) or on the other side about Eternally maybe because it's a Demo they didn't completely refine? I don't know, my ear is not that trained but Joker seems to sound a bit better than Eternally. It’s not against the rules to post YouTube links. I managed to hear it in better quality. The main source who posted the snippets collage video on YouTube has all them in HQ, but all the ones circulating are lower quality. So my theory about Sharing platforms compressing is right. We can now hope for a better quality of Joker ? As far as releasing them officially, I have my doubt but I'm sure Avril has other songs ready not about to be leaked, so let's be positive for a deluxe Anyways end of my OT, let's get back to Lucky Ones / HAW thread 😅 Has it leaked as flac? I can only find mp3. |

The "I thought we were baby" is so cringy and inappropriate addition. I wish they replaced it with better lyrics.

Cute song, but doubt I'll ever give it another listen. I feel Lauren's version has better production. It even has more guitars towards the bridge, but Avril's sounds more demo-ish. Still better than LMI lol.
