Yes, but think about this, whether or not time travel is real, what about an artist's actual history being erased and all their songs suddenly becoming available? I mean, they artist would still be alive and hopefully well, but their career and songs would be undone and floating around waiting to be discovered and recorded. They wouldn't be the same, of course, but they would be out there. 99.9% of the time this couldn't happen, but it depends on how it happened and who was responsible for erasing the songs so to speak, and for what purpose. If it was for selfish reasons or greed, or for the wrong reasons, then that's not good, but if it was to help people in some major way it could be interesting. Because technically if those songs were erased they'd still be out there floating around, you know? Of course, this would impact millions of lives in countless trillions of ways both large and small. Someone who was supposed to download the artists' songs on a Monday and didn't because the songs weren't there might go for a walk or a coffee instead and get hit by a bus. I know that's sad, but it's 1 of countless trillions of factors to consider. Just a thought. π

I know that's sad, but it's 1 of countless trillions of factors to consider. Just a thought. π We're getting kind of off topic here, because none of this is funny, except to say that the concept of time travel is laughable. But, let's say we could overcome the laws of physics, and travel through time. That only solves the problem, of when. The next problem we have to solve is, where. None of countless books and movies on time travel address the unimaginably complex problem of navigation. We're on a spinning object. If we are on the equator, we are moving at the speed of 1000 miles per hour, relative to earth. So, if we move forward or backward, by one hour, are we 1000 miles, from where we started? No. The earth is travelling around the sun, at the speed of 67,000 miles per hour. So, if we move forward or backward, by one hour, are we 67,000 miles, from where we started? No. Our solar system orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy, at the speed of 514,495 miles per hour. So, if we move forward or backward, by one hour, are we 514,495 miles, from where we started? No. Our galaxy is moving toward something called The Great Attractor, at the speed of 242 miles per second. That's 871,200 miles per hour. So, if we move forward or backward, by one hour, are we 871,200 miles, from where we started? No. The direction and velocity, of all the above factors, have to be calculated simultaneously. And, if we're off by just one second, our time machine could be in space, or 242 miles below the earth's surface. Wait. It gets worse. There are other factors to that equation. However, this is off topic and I've already bored myself half to death. π

I should have explained that my comment had nothing to do with time travel, and only about the how and why and what involved with "Disappearing" a major artists songs and the impact that could have and what the purpous and impact would be. I agree time travel is not likely for my own reasons. I wasn't bored by your comments at all. I was just trying to point out that if an artist's songs disappeared they would still be out there floating around and available more or less. Happy Tuesday to you. π

What are the rules on owning an elephant? Do you have any idea? When walking your elephant, you must always have a shovel and a very large bag. π

What are the rules on owning an elephant? Do you have any idea? You want a pet elephant? Yes. I love elephants. They're smart, friendly, or some are. And they're wonderful creatures.
