Little bits of Avril in his interview. The description has time stamps btw if you just wanna hear about Avril. Always cool to hear what her band members are like and what's up with them during this pandemic. BogoGog24 I remember you wondered about him specifically a little bit ago. He said he's producing a bands record right now.

Just as a very random update and considerations, since we don’t have much to talk about.
Pandemic started late February and now we’re in Late August, so 6 months have passed.
And the EU tour starts late February so still 6 months. We are exactly halfway from the tour.
At the moment governments are reclutant to another strict lockdown cause it will be too much economically dramatic, but they are already taking into consideration a light lockdown.
+ 950 cases in Italy only yesterday, + 4586 cases in France last day, +1427 in Germany.
Russia produced his fist vaccine, but it’s too early and they say the 3rd experimental phase of the vaccine will be done directly in the population. I really don’t think EU governments will follow this line. European people won't be willing to be part of the experiment, so here the process will take place in a long time no earlier than 2021.
They're trying hard to re-open in safety schools, gyms, and universities. And there's still lots of doubts. Shows or festivals indoor, will have to wait imo.
A lot can happen in 6 months. To be honest, at the moment, I don’t even care if shows will really happen, but I really hope that in worst scenario, she won't cancel them but she will postpone them again at the end of 2021, and if it still won’t be possible, I hope she releases 7th record and start a new tour in 2022 all over the world.

I think if shows aren’t safe to go on by then, they’ll keep postponing. In the meantime maybe she should think about doing virtual shows instead like many artists are. StageIt is a popular platform for that, you can buy a virtual ticket and it sends you a link to be able to watch the show from anywhere. They could have an HD camera and quality audio setup so the quality would be better than a simple livestream from her phone. I’m thinking she could easily do something like this:
This was filmed in June, in the middle of the pandemic. Band is spaced 6 ft apart.

Guys, here's the perfect opportunity to ask for another interview with Avril:

What would they talk about though if she was just on not that long ago? She isn't doing much except cooking, writing a cookbook, and working on new music. I feel like she should come back on his show once she releases some new music or goes back on tour.

If the early 2021 shows are unable to be held, she should definitely make virtual shows, and she’d make some good profit from it. Plus, fans from all over the world would be able to watch and stream and it would be like having an official DVD recording of the show, so you kill two birds with one shot.

We have the worst luck as a fan base. Avril is down for about five years with no new music. Then finally an album with zero promo that took way longer to release than it should have, then a tour, but the tour gets canceled because of a pandemic, and still no new music because she’ll probably keeps pushing HAW until the tour is totally canceled. And then who knows... sigh.

Omg a virtual concert would be so fun. Just any performances from her I'd appreciate with a little variety of course.
An interview would be cool too. But she is so hard to open up even when she's comfortable she gives the bare minimum of info. Instead, I would like a fan Q&A. It's always a hit or miss but I'd take it over this lack of interaction. I have a list of questions for her.

For a virtual show she would have to improve her stage performance a lot. Tbh I want to go to her concert to SEE her, to hear her voice live and to see other fans and feel the atmosphere. I wouldnt be interested in a virtual show because her performance itself is not that spectacular...

I’m not very confident about Europe either. cases are rising quickly again and the assumption is it’s only going to get worse over winter I’d only pay for a virtual show if it was really cheap, and at a convenient time lol. like eismann said, her performances aren’t captivating enough to keep me sat at a screen for ages. it’s different in person

Maybe she could do an acoustic performance like the Roxy show. I feel like that would be pretty interesting to watch.

In my country they want to be back with live music in fall but the number of people for each show would be 50% of the venue’s capacity.

Still no sign of it here in the UK. Yet there's loads of tours still being announced around the same time as Avril.

I’m gonna guess if shows are allowed to happen by then she probably won’t be playing at full capacity venues.
