Pods seem like a weird idea to me. Large groups don't always got to concerts together. I've always gone just with one friend. Some people go solo. Or teens ask their parents not to stay with them so they sit elsewhere. In LA, the governor said we might not start opening up completely until March. Who knows with what kind of precautions or restrictions. Let's hope the holidays go well. There are social people out there, biggerwow 😅

I'm social, I also always got uncomfortable by anything that involved more than two friends plus me.

Since the European leg is likely to be cancelled, (I believe the Asia ones are still happening?) I wonder if Avril will decide to make a proper virtual concert of the HAW tour. That would be really cool and we’d get a professional-quality recorded show, which we haven’t had since 2008.

China will probably don’t let her in, they still haven’t rescheduled all of the 2020 dates on many countries

If she did do that I’d kind of expect it to be free, she has the money to cover the costs. People have not only missed out on seeing her but they’ve lost money on it - travel and hotels were often non refundable and just from a personal POV I know ticketmaster Germany will give me a voucher rather than a refund for next years show, which is useless to me because i wouldn’t travel to see anyone else there, so I’m losing the cost of two tickets.
I’ve seen loads of artists do free shows (of varying quality). With so many people out of work due to Covid to do something for her fans, for free, which let’s be honest she rarely does, would be a very nice touch.

Honestly I'm thinking that she just scraps this tour and does a global tour in a couple of years once this is all over. She hasn't had a concert here since I saw her in 2005, crazy to think she has never even sung "Girlfriend" here outside of promo events.

Even if she wanted to, the promotors, venues etc will have her tied down to a contract. Personally if/when the Tour doesn't go ahead early next year, I hope she postpones again AND does another tour after her next album. The demand is there and theres many countries she hasn't visited in years, so why not.

As far as I'm concerned, Asia is not doing that bad with the covid situation (?) South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan or even China are doing pretty ok. But I could be wrong obviously 'cause I don't live there xD
