So I‘ve been listening to a lot of music this year and trying to find new artists/artists I never really listened to. What are your favorites so far which artists and songs/records do you listen a lot?
My top songs at the moment are in no particular order:
- It Was In Me - Avril Lavigne - Two of Us - Louis Tomlinson - I Miss The Days - NF - Missing You - The Vamps - Soulless Creatures - AURORA (and a few more from her) - Soft To Be Strong - MARINA
Albums would be:
- Head Above Water - Avril Lavigne - Love + Fear - MARINA - A Different Kind Of Human - AURORA - The Search - NF
There are for sure songs and albums I haven't heard yet so if you recommend something, I‘d be glad.
Let me know what you listen to and what your favorites are. Maybe we‘ll find new music together.
I don't listen to much music, I usually find a couple of songs, which I listen to again and again
Music from 2019 that I'm listening:
Avril Lavigne - I usually listen to the whole album, My favorite songs at this moment are Bigger Wow and Crush Sabaton - Fields of Verdun (Sabaton is a Power Metal band that sings about history), their last Album Great War is about World War 1 Rammstein - Deutschland, Rammstein also has a new Album, so far, I've only listened to this song from the album
Hozier is my obsession this year. His latest album Wasteland Baby! Has some amazing tracks like Movement, Nina Cried Power, Dinner & Diatribes, Almost.
Maddie & Tae One Heart to Another EP (similar to Avril imo)
Miranda Lambert has some real rock vibes with her new songs: It All Comes Out In The Wash, Mess with my head(similar to Av imo), Locomotive
The 1975 album A brief inquiry into online relationships. Sincerity is Scary, If it's not living(if it's not with you), Be my mistake, Mine, Love it if we made it, I always wanna die sometimes. The whole album is a trip. They have upbeat and acoustic jams.
Slipknot album We are Not Your Kind. Unsainted and Birth of the cruel are my favs
Carrie Underwood album Cry Pretty, Drinking Alone, Backsliding (if you like TMIO, Crush listen to those songs)Spinning Bottles (sad ballad)
Taylor Swift songs The Man, Lover, Miss Americana, Daylight
Lady Antebellum songs what if I never get over you, Pictures
Lana del Rey cover of doing time
I check every Thursday night for new music so yea I have a lot of recs 😳. From what I see you like you may enjoy Hozier and The 1975 best idk everyone is different.
birdie2020 Bad Guy kinda grew on me but I‘m still not sure if I like it. To Oliver Tree: Oliver Tree - Hurt: I kinda like it though. Maybe not exactly my cup of tea but I wouldn’t mind hearing it.
biggerwow I didn‘t like Hozier that mach unfortunately. :/ I enjoyed the second half more than the firs half though. Maddie & Tae: actually, I really enjoyed that one! Miranda Lambert: not exactly what I would listen, I think. Slipknot: Damn that‘s really not what I listen xDD Lady Antebellum - What If I Never Get Over You: I really loved that song. So beautiful.
I‘ll add Taylor Swift to my list, her new album is great and I have a few favorites such as Cruel Summer, Lover, The Archer and Soon You’ll Get Better and a few more.
I‘m also loving The Vamps incredibly much. (I‘m going to their concert in November!)
Lana Del Rey‘s new album is so amazing too. She‘s such a mood!
Also Melanie Martinez has released a new record which I really enjoy.
Have you listened to the new song with Ariana, Miley and Lana? I don’t like it that much. It feels like they don’t complete each other on the track. And habe you heard Graveyard by Halsey? I like that one better.
