Hi everyone  I open this thread to express and opinion about a thing that thouched me a lot and to know yours. This is the only thing about Avril that disappointed me: her behavior at M&G with fans, i read articles written by brasilian ones and i was shocked. How can a person who loves you spend a lot of money to meet you and not even come close to you to take a pic?!? How can you be so nonchalant with your fans? Personally, i feel very sad about it. But i don't know, maybe she's not always like that. What do you think? And what are your experience? |

Honestly we'll never know what the deal was with that. It’s probably because while she was on tour at the time she was sick with Lyme but didn’t know it. I think she thought she had the flu. So naturally she didn’t want anyone to stand too close to her and risk catching what she had (meaning flu-like symptoms, not Lyme) or her catching anything from anyone else to make her condition worse.
The M&Gs in America seemed a lot better and we’ve seen this era she’s meeting fans after the show and taking pics with them. Also South America has a history of being rowdy at her shows, so maybe they took extra security precautions because of things that have happened in the past.

I hope is like you say. She always looks so sweet and kind, when i found that article i didn't belive in what i was reading. And i saw the pics too: people were 1mile from Avril. I imagine myself, if i'd meet her: my idol, my dream. And i can't get a pic near you and i can't even shake your hand? Certainly to meet and hug a lot of person could be stressfull, but maybe you must have a minimum of involved with your fans, people who loves you unconditionally. But i think that you're right, she was sick and who knows how she felt like. I'd like to know what kind of experience have had other people who met her. Anyway, get a pic with Avril still to be my dream.  P.S.: i don't know if you can understand what i write, i never practice english with people, even if i used to love it a lot when i went to school  |
