I think Avril has actually always loved Hello Kitty but just was never open about it until more recently. There is a HK doll visible in her bedroom in the My World documentary:  I think if Avril had come out back then and said she liked HK, she'd have gotten tons of shit for it because it wouldn't have matched up with her "rocker girl/skater chick" image. Or maybe back then she used to just like it, but in more recent years she's become more of a serious collector/more obsessed. Wow! Such a strong evidence about Hello Kitty. 2003 Avril Hello Kitty evidence in the Documentary My World.  good job. |
