I started forgetting the actual day. lol Not me. I was counting down the days to the end of my quarantine. Now, I'm counting down the days to the end of the official "stay-at-home" order, imposed by the state of Ohio.

If anything needs to happen out of this crisis is that we need an international treaty on rapid reaction outbreak control, which would involve funding operations around observing potential disease sources, preparing for rapid vaccine development ("DNA" of this virus was released quite quickly, but could've done even faster), and organizing extreme quarantine shutdowns anywhere, anytime, with other countries preparing to cover a lot of that cost - imagine how cheaper it would've been if there'd been such rigorous movement restriction and testing exactly a month ago (Februar 26), when there were 3326 confirmed cases outside China - today there are 440.000 of those outside China, with daily increase being over 40.000 just yesterday. International problems require international solutions, no way around it.
And maybe, we should all go on a cruise once this is all over, as a 'screw you' to the virus, hah.

International problems require international solutions, no way around it. Not to dismiss anything else you said, this is key. It would be nice if there was a way to trust each other. I have no faith this will happen in my lifetime. I would be happy to be wrong.

Uh-huh, cough like this Uh-huh, uh-huh, that's the way you sneeze la la la la You cough like this Uh-huh, uh-huh, that's the way you sneeze
Chill out, whatcha coughin' for? Lay back, it's all been sneezed before. And if, you could only, stay at home, you will see I like, you the way you are, when we're coughin' in your car, and you're sneezing on me one on one, like you're siiiiick.
A family member suggested that I don't go to work and that she'd even pay me whatever I would lose from not working. It's not the right thing to do. If everyone at the grocery stores did as I was suggested, so many people would starve(probably to death!). Maybe I'll just spend as much time as I can in my room and away from everyone.
This virus brought out the true nature of many...it's like I can see people for who they really are now that I see how they react to this situation LOL!

Grocery store workers are essential employees so yeah unfortunately they must stay open. But at least doing what you can to minimize your own risk of getting infected is all you can really do. I hope no customers have been a big pain in the ass to you while you’re working.

Looking like Boris is to announce lock down for the U.K. tonight. Absolutely mad people can’t just follow instructions to stay in. Bo got the Co! Congrats? First World leader to get it, if you count out Bolsonaro, who denies it. I wonder how widespread it actually is. Anyway, hopefully he'll have only mild symptoms.

The bin men haven't come where I live. Any excuse and they don't bother. I've changed from being glad to have a break from work to wanting to help somehow. Run out of housework and gardening to do, just bored and anxious now. I've been averaging 5 cans of Guinness a day.

Since I work at a laboratory you have to write everything down what you are doing with my initials and date and time so I never forget the date. I think I've wrote "27-Mar-2020" already 35 times today xD

I find it curious Avril Lavigne foundation hasn't already contributed somehow to the fight against Covid19. A lot of celebrity foundations have contributed already. I know they're focusing on lyme now but it's a much bigger problem now and others already made a step.
As a manager I would recommend Avril to do a fundraising online small set. Or an auction of a signed guitar or something personal.
She's not responsible for this, she pays a manager to have the work of thinking for her. And again, I only see bad managing happen for her.
Not that she has to do something or is obligated to take action... but it's a simple way of good marketing.

I hope no customers have been a big pain in the ass to you while you’re working. I only push carts and help out a little around the store, so I don't have to make the big decisions regarding the virus and the customers know it. I don't know if this theory holds, but I think if we tried to "reopen" our economy right now, the virus will just spread farther and then we could have an even bigger economic problem from so many workers dying/getting crippled than simply going on lock-down. My university is offering a new grading policy for this spring semester only. We have the option of having "Pass" as a grade rather than a letter for our classes to make-up for the sudden change to online courses(won't count towards Grade Point Average). I'm not doing any program/graduate stuff that specifically requires letter grades(I'm just going for the Bachelor's so I can work in the industry), so this is very convenient for me. The classes I have are annoyingly tough so I will probably take this option.

I’ve hit the drink too, got to have something to look forward to at the end of the day. I’m still having to got to work as I’m classified a “key worker” which is a worry because I live with my mothers who’s 70, so in the vulnerable category.
