I hope she actually will write this cookbook and not just abandon the idea like she has for so many years lol I'm sure it will take a while to get it done and then of course find a publisher, take some photographs, and all that stuff, but I think it would be really cool. A lot of other celebs have done cookbooks, I think Chrissy Teigan did one and she is not a professional chef, so it's definitely something Avril could do. Her recipes always look so amazing, I would buy her cookbook for sure even if I never cooked any of the stuff.

I think that if we were to try getting another interview with her, we would have to have someone like Francy reach out to Avril's management since Avril knows Francy. It would have to be someone Avril has more of a personal connection with I think. |

She did do the interview with Zach Zane. He didn't do the track by track, it was more like an interview about the album. But Avril was mostly closed off whenever he asked about songs like bigger wow she laughed it off and I think goddess she sort of mentioned the guy it was about. Sad, cus he usually gets some deep info about the recording process fro other artists. It was still a good interview though. Here it is. |

Yeah I wish she would have done a track by track for this album, though I guess it's not that unusual since she never did one for any of her other albums either except some songs on GL. And she even skipped most of the personal ones on that album too. I don't think she is too articulate with explaining her ideas for songs and what they mean, so it's not surprising we never got proper track by track commentaries from her for any of her records.
I wonder if part of the reason she avoids answering questions about songs like Bigger Wow and Goddess is because she probably wasn't that involved with their creation and they were songs she wrote to incorporate some fun, happy songs which she admitted to having trouble connecting with and writing. Whereas HAW and Warrior were songs that began with her from a very personal place and have more meaning to her.

BogoGog24 I didn't realize that Avril wasn't listed as the first/main co-writers for a lot of the songs on this album. Mostly Lauren Christy or Ross G for Goddess.
