AL7 Album Speculations Thread

Very exciting and the final confirmation that she is indeed making a pop-punk album (at least for the time being). I hope everything works out as far as formalities with bureaucracies and labels go and that we actually do get an album from her next year before she changes her mind a million times and starts losing the passion and energy she seems to have now. The timing is so right for her. This pop-punk revival within the music scene could do wonders for her. Her latest albums got buried so deep and so quickly in the sea of pop artists out there -- she just completely failed to stand out and make an impression outside her core fanbase. The idea of her getting to contribute to this new wave of pop-punk can definitely help revert that and propel her legacy forward.

I really hope the song with Modsun is a banger and that it helps set the tone for what's to come while also getting people excited for the return of a more rock Avril. Judging by the thousands of comments on her latest picture everyone seems VERY excited already to see her going in that direction.

Hopefully something like this! This album has been produced by feldmann, I would love some ft. with travis barker on drums. I have the impression that it will appear in some song.

I like the song shared above. It takes me back to my kid/teen years. Though, I want something more upbeat too from Avril and I think we will get it. I haven't kept up with Feldman these years but I like this guy he worked with



Btw Avril was ahead of the times when she got Travis Barker back in 2007. Except during those time he didn't get feature credits like now. I want him back on AL7 too.

wow, it's been a ride these days in Miss Lavinge's social media. I'm making my comeback here, too since I'm starting my holidays
I never wanted Avril to do something like EDM or any electronic stuff even though I like jamming at Hello kitty's live videos and listening from time to time some of the wings clipped.
It's really good she's making new friends, musician friends that are related to punk, rock or pop punk music. She's been surrounded by so so many people that maybe they weren't what she really wanted by the time she recorded AL and HAW. Yeah, we know that AL1, 2 and 3 were pretty decent and cohesive and AL4 could have been a work of art (it is for me but it could be glory), but I think that mixing her ex-husband and private friends with work wasn't good for what we've seen. She's always letting people who's not that good in music industry "touch" her work and it always becomes a mess.
I hope she really sees how every fan is going crazy by watching her being this active at social media, and working on new music and hinting at her roots. This is what 90% of her fan base wants. They all want "the old avril back". If she's smart enouguh she will take advantage of this and can make a comeback for the 00's and could bring MGK, MODSUN, Yungblud's audiencea dn become bigger than she already is.
However, I'm keeping my hopes low as we all know how it always turns out. We're still waiting for many songs we've seen her working on such as Alex da kid, skylar grey, adele (?) and many others artists. So, this is a good start... until AL7 is done we have a loooooong way and many things can happen. There's always misunderstandings, arguments, then she wants to grab the bull by the horns, she could have a new romance and the BOOM, all the music is stored in neverland. But well, this is a good way to wrap 2020 waiting for new music to come and it seems it's closer than never.
