That doesn't necessarily mean anything. I wish fans would stop making up rumors over every small thing Avril says or does because it ends up making everyone confused and it never ends up being true. She never explicitly said she will perform ABO and I don't see why she would anyway, as it has nothing to do with SO and she hasn't performed it in over 10 years. There will be several other singers performing there, so presumably they all get 1 song and for Avril that will be Fly. I highly highly doubt she's performing more than one song. Please stop reading so much into everything Avril says and does, unless she has explicitly confirmed something.

Yeah, I'm also extremely in love with Avril's hair these days. And her overall look as well.

I mean when bands rehearse old songs and let fans know about it, they know fans will expect and want to hear it. And many bands and artists bring back old songs for either the fans or because they want to perform them again. However with it being the SO, perhaps not. Maybe this is a sign of what future setlists will be like - less of just a list of singles, or maybe she's into that style again, or maybe she's just feeling nostalgic. If people are enjoying speculating, let them.

If people are enjoying speculating, let them. Sorry but no. My reason? Because fans read what is written on her fan sites and some of them may not follow her as closely as others do, so if they read here that Avril will perform ABO they'll think it's true and then when she doesn't perform it they'll get mad at her because she "promised" even though she never said any such thing. We DO need to be careful about what we say on Avril's fan sites because things have happened in the past with the media picking up on what we have said and reported wrong information. Someone on the old site said as a joke that Avril's 4th album was going to be called Pink Crust and the media picked up on it and wrote all these articles about it, even though it was not true. Luckily since this is only a temp site I don't think the media will even find this site but for the sake of fans, I think we should be careful about what we say here. It's fine to say "Oh look she tweeted about ABO, do you think she will perform it?" Keinware explicitly stated "She will perform it" as though Avril confirmed it which she didn't. If something is only a rumor or speculation, make sure to state that it's only a rumor or speculation. Also it does seem like lately everyone is speculating over everything she does, like "Oh she tweeted about UMS, she's making another UMS!" It just gets annoying after awhile when fans do that and there's not even any real proof to back it up with. If Avril had tweeted an Instagram video of her singing ABO, then yes, we'd have proof she may perform it, but I don't think simply quoting lyrics means anything. Speculating she might perform if is one thing, taking it as fact that she will perform it is another.

I think that ABO was just a reference to the rehearsal and how great it was. I would've never guessed that people actually think that she is practicing that song. ._.

From what I know Cassadee Pope is confirmed to be there as well and is performing her new single "Invincible." I don't know what the other artists are performing but there's obviously meant to be a theme of inspiring/uplifting songs. And I haven't heard anything about them performing multiple songs. IMO ABO is not appropriate for the situation because of lyrics like "somebody rip my heart out and leave me here to bleed" and "is it enough to die." I don't think it's appropriate for an event directed at kids with illnesses and disabilities. If by chance she was able to perform a second song, IWY or KHO are more likely and more appropriate options. Those songs were also both singles and therefore are more well known to the public.

I see absolutely no problem in speculating what so ever. And all fanbases have fans that take things literally then flame the artist. People believe everything they read on the internet these days. It's not down to anything other than the people those particular fans are. People are too gullible, I would have thought as long as she confirmed it, we would assume it was simply speculation? Not only are some fans taking things literally, I think people are taking what fans are saying too literally. I can't believe we have to word everything so carefully as to not offend these days, but that's just me. People should be allowed to do what they want, and if they want to speculate, they should be free to. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Exactly. My first thought was that the feeling in the studio was anything but ordinary and that it felt so good to her to be back in the studio. That she's getting better every single day and so.

People should be allowed to do what they want, and if they want to speculate, they should be free to. We'll have to agree to disagree. You missed my entire point. It's totally fine if people want to discuss whether or not she MAY be performing the song. What Keinware said though is NOT speculating. He said multiple times in this and other threads that Avril is performing it, as though this was confirmed info which it isn't. I understand that English isn't his first language and maybe he misunderstood the tweet or wrote it wrong but he should not have taken the tweet and said "She is also performing ABO" because it's not true. To speculate whether she will or not is fine but IMO it's not ok to write things here as though it's been confirmed when it hasn't been. There's a huge difference between she MAY perform it and she WILL perform it. That's what I'm trying to get at here.

I think Avril is just feeling nostalgic by being in the studio again, doing dress rehearsal again, and band rehearsal again. It's been a while since she's done these things so she's excited. She is probably also using those types of hashtags and references because she knows the fans will appreciate it. I think she's remembering old times and letting us know that she hasn't forgotten the past either. I don't think it's any inclination or foreshadowing for the future; just reminiscence.
Just remember that Avril is a lot more active on social media these days. If she had been in the past, she probably would have been using the same kind of hashtags and references all along. It's most likely not anything special and just may seem so because she is finally posting often on social media.
I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade though. We all enjoy fantasizing and expressing our hopes for things we'd love Avril to do.

^^ After being racist with Hello Kitty MV, flopvril will continue making fun of people with disabilities by singing Chop Suey, showing them what it's like to have good articulation.
