The way he waits for her to get out of the car just to lock hands to say "look at us we're dating, please make it public" is so obvious and fucking cringey. It's not like they were walking down the street holding hands on a casual day and the paps showed up....

I didn't see it as him purposely waiting for the cameras to roll and then grab her hand, but more like he was just waiting for her and instinctively grabbed her hand because he's her boyfriend. My fiance does that sometimes.
The more I think about it though, I do wonder if they actually called the paps themselves because I otherwise don't see how those fans would know to wait for her. The last 2 times she went out to BOA, there were a few fans waiting to take a picture with her. I'm not sure how anyone would know to wait for her there, unless they just took a gamble and figured she'd be there since she's been known to go there a lot. But perhaps people saw a group of paps standing around and they asked who they were waiting for and they said Avril so the fans stuck around to get a chance to take a photo with her, I don't know.

That's what I think too. However, they were not holding any of her products but the plain accessories which made them just a seller on Ebay instead of true fans. Are there anyone or job is mocking celebrity to have autograph for sale in the US ? |

I just mean that the way it happened seemed almost protocolary, like staged. It just didn’t come off as natural. But maybe it’s just my impression. If they wanted to keep it low profile they wouldn’t have hold hand while having dozens of flashes being shot at them. It just seemed like cheap PR. There are so many ways to “officialize” a relationship, and this is what they went for. |

Hopefully these were isolated incidents. They went out to celebrate the completion of his album and give it some promo before its release, then went out again to celebrate its release. We'll see if they go out more and purposely try to promote his record. I sincerely hope Avril won't go for this when it comes time to promote her own music though.
