I don't get it 100%. Is it like the actual book with pictures added?

I would like to know if any of you would be happy if there would be a sequel (book and/or movie) of Harry Potter. Iv'e never actually asked someone or read something about it, so I thought I could ask you. I can imagine that there will be a lot of people who would fight about that. The one group would say "yes, omog a dream would come true!!" and the other ones would say "please not!! HP is fine as it is, leave it in silence. The only thing you can do with a sequel is to destroy everything". What do you think about it? I know that JK Rowling said that she could easily write a 8th, 9th or 10th book but do you think she will ever do that? She recently released a short story-actually, a fictitious article by Rita Skeeter-in which she writes about the attendance of the main characters and their offspring to a World Cup Quidditch tournament- Harry is depicted as having some gray hair and be in his 40s. As for a sequel, well, I'm not sure of what even to think. I'm positive the own Rowling is the first one who doesn't want to fuck the original series, so she would either write another wonder or not write anything at all. I think there's a higher chance she writes a prequel some day. But, on the other hand, I do think she's left many loose ends, and I'm sure she's done it on purpose. Like, the Elder Wand went back to Dumbledore's grave and Harry just "dropped" the Resurrection Stone in the Forbidden Forest. None of them are protected by any kind of spell or curse-so basically anyone searching for any oh then in the grounds of Hogwarts could relatively easily retrieve them. Coincidentally, right now I'm reading some fan-fiction sequel to Harry Potter that focus in the next generation (James, Albus, Rose, Lily...) and the main character, who is the daughter of Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger ( yeah, you read that right) is described as " looking like Avril Lavigne"

I think i would be overstrained. Hahaha tbh the daughter of them two could really look like Avril

Oh, I simply love this discussion! I could answer to all of you guys but that'd take me hours... So, let's see... I agree that Alan Rickman did a great job playing Snape but I still don't like Snape at all. I mean, I love scenes with him as much as I love scenes with Umbridge, but looking at his personality I think he's quite creepy. To me his "love" for Lily seems more like an obsession. And NOTHING gives him the right to bully Harry and especially Neville like this. He's just totally unfair. Even if you might say that he had a reason for hating on Neville and Harry, he certainly had no reason to hate on Ron and Hermione. I remember that scene where Hermione was hit with a curse that made her front teeth grow abnormally long and when Ron made Hermione show Snape her teeth he simply said "I see no difference". Things like that make me hate his personality. But I'm still awfully glad he was in the books; it would have been quite boring without him. Every good story needs someone you can always rant about Btw, I think most of the teachers were portrayed perfectly by their actors: Maggie Smith as McGonagall is just amazing and then there were Flitwick and Hagrid and Moody and Lupin and Trelawney... they all looked exactly as they had been described in the books. And Lockhart! OMG he was one of the worst and funniest characters ever! Always this kind of "look at all the things I've done, I'm so clever and handsome and brilliant, everybody loves me" attitude and especially everybody else's reaction, like "wtf?" About how it all began: I started reading the books after I've seen the first movie. I think I was about 7 years old and I remember being awfully afraid after having watched the scene with Quirrell and Voldemort - you know, the one where Quirrell finally takes off his turban and you see Voldemort's face for the first time etc. But the movie also fascinated me so I started reading the books. I was an awfully slow reader back then and it took me ages to finish all the books. I was so slow that when the seventh book was released I was still reading the fifth book. Since then I've always liked Harry Potter but I only really became a fanatic when I started reading the English versions (I think I was about 14 then). It's just so much better reading the "original" version than some translation - a lot of JKR's writing style gets lost through translations and some things have even been changed in the German editions: Like, I'll never understand why they turned vault 713 to vault 719 in the German editions... My HP collection: I got all the books of course, both in English and German. I even got the first and seventh book twice in English and the fifth book twice in German. The German edition of OotP has over 1,000 pages - it's simply too thick, the cover came loose. That's why I bought it a second time. I also got "The Tales of Beedle the Bard", "Quidditch Through the Ages", and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" (the latter in English and German). Then I also got two posters, a Ravenclaw scarf, a T-shirt, and a tiny statue of Harry. AND I got the PS and CoS computer games, PoA for PlayStation 2, and OotP for Ninteno DS. And then I got the soundtrack for both DH Part 1 and DH Part 2, and even piano sheet music for DH Part 1. Wow, this is more than I thought.... About Ron and Hermione: I think them ending up married was quite predictable. But I think it's cute anyway and I'm happy they got married. I think Harry and Hermione wouldn't have worked at all! They're much more like brother and sister. Dobby's death was probably the worst for me. He was one of my favourite characters - so cute and innocent and brave! But the thing that makes me cry worst isn't anyone dying - it's Kreacher's tale. It's just so heartbreaking; all that he had to go through and then his favourite master, Regulus, was killed, but he failed to keep the promise he gave him: destroying he locket. It's sad they didn't tell Kreacher's back-story properly in the movies and showed how he changed towards Harry afterwards... I've never really thought about a sequel because I'm happy the way it is. To me, the story is told, it's finished. That's all I can say about that. Sorry for that awfully long essay, I simply couldn't help it

I think I may have watched "Potter Puppet Pals" by chance.
The only line I remember : "Snape, Snape, Severus Snape" "DUMBLEDORE! DUMBLEDORE!"

I played PS and CoS on Playstation 1. They were fun. I've been wanting to get some others for PC or my PS3.

I played PS and CoS on Playstation 1. They were fun. I've been wanting to get some others for PC or my PS3. For PC, my favorite is The Prisoner of Azkaban (so much items to find!). The Chamber Of Secret is great too! The first one is really nice but you can't explore Hogwarts as much as the others two. Sadly, starting with OOTP they aren't very good... I played 1 - 3 on Xbox and they weren't near the quality of the PC version. One HP Game that deserves to be mentionned (at least on PC) is this one : It's really fun! And there are a lot of items to collect too. It's one of my favorite game ever.

One of the best games is also Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and the Chamber of Secrets for PlayStation 1. I enjoyed them a lot when I was little.

It looks fucking magnificent!!!!! I once downloaded Hogwarts for Sims 2 from that official site (which sadly doesn't exist anymore) but it wasn't nearly as amazing as yours. And in the end it even was too much for my computer - it died just a few days later :/ But that's all ages ago...
