I'm really excited for it, especially considering J.K Rowling is writing the screenplay so we know that it is in good hands. I think it will be interesting considering the time period that it is set in, and that it starts in New York. We never really got to see much outside of the UK wizarding world in HP. Plus Eddie Redmayne is great so I'm looking forward to seeing his performance. Even though they are completely separate stories, I'm hoping that there will be small references to things and people that we already know from HP.

I can imagine the queues and prices are ridiculous at the park! Oh btw how was the experience? Being able to see the sets at the tour and to walk around in Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and inside Hogwarts at the park!

Being able to see the sets at the tour and to walk around in Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and inside Hogwarts at the park! So good! The set tour thing in London is cool cos obv it's all the real stuff but the thing at Orlando is just awesome haha. like going in the bank with all the lil moving goblins and the dragon breathing fire from the roof hah and going in all the shops and the pubs and stuff it's just so cool! I'd defo go back to both of them if I could cos they were born so busy the times we went it was impossible to see everything! Diagon alley was cool with the shops but hogsmeade was soooo pretty and had the castle there too so that was probs my fave, plus the hogwarts express between the two is so much fun ha they do a lil film type thing so it's like you're actually on it. I have tonnes of pics from both somewhere I'll see if I have any cool ones later and post a few I started the Philosophers stone again today, inspired by this thread

It was incredible! And like you, I loved the butterbeer. When people ask me what it was like, I describe it as caramel with some vanilla. By the way, I don't know how to say this but the bubbles were really... Tiny? Haha! Yeah I loved it. Anyway, I took 454 pictures in 3 hours. At the end of the tour, you can find a lot of wand boxes, including one with "J.K. Rowling" on it. Very nice. This is one of my favorite picture. I can't explain it but I really love the colors, the details etc.

Has anyone any clue why none of the movies didn't got an oscar? IKR? I absolutely think that Alan Rickman deserved one for Snape in the last 2 movies, especially the last one. That whole 'The Princes' Tale' sequence was so amazing and the death scene. And of course that speech in the Great Hall (actually that is one of Dan's best moments there too imo, with that speech he gives back). Even that scene where he just stares out at the students marching in he has so much going on in that expression! I think they got snubbed purely because they were Harry Potter movies. I can't remember did they even win one year for makeup or special effects or something? 'Coz even that is done well. I have the two-disc editions of the last 4 movies so I watched the extra stuff and wow, the makeup artists really are amazing.

BTW I will be posting more pics soon. I am currently remodelling my Great Hall because I found some new cool stuff and had an idea or two. And I did promise pics of some of the shops.
