She did say US dates were coming. I’d honestly just wait for US dates instead of going through the hassle to fly to Europe just to see a concert. Especially when the shows are barely over an hour and she plays the same songs. Just doesn’t seem worth it IMO. Not when she will likely play the US soon after that. When did she say that? Why would she do another North American tour if no new album is coming out? By the way, I was actually gonna do a ton of sightseeing in Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, and Manchester while seeing Avril on tour. I was looking forward to making a big vacation out of it.😭 It was in a reply to a comment on the tour post on Instagram, a fan asked if there would be US dates and she wrote "Coming!" as if to imply the dates are to come soon. In her DM to Bandaids a while back she said the initial plan was to tour Canada in January, Europe in March, and US in summer. That would appear to line up with the way the European dates are (most are all in March) which would leave her time to tour Canada all of January. And if she does tour the US in summer, hopefully the album will for sure be out by then. If you were planning to do other things overseas besides see Avril, then that's totally different and I'd say then it's worth reevaluating if you still want to go. We still don't know what the COVID situation will be and as others have said, you'll have to carefully research what their policies are regarding quarantining and what not. For sure buy traveler's insurance too!

Unfortunately, no VIP tickets or meet-and-greets for her shows in the UK.

I don’t really blame her tbh. To make it worth the £ you’d want to get fairly close to her and I can see why she wouldn’t want that at the moment.

Yeah not surprising there won’t be a meet and greet. The initial US dates didn’t have a formal meet and greet and that was long before COVID. Even with Mod’s shows he stood in a glass case and everyone had to wear masks.

For sure buy traveler's insurance too! If she was gonna play Canada this January, tickets would've gone on sale by now. And I'm gonna nix any plans to travel to Europe next year for Avril and sightseeing. Like others have said, it's clearly not worth the hassle. But I'm not holding my breath for her to play the US next summer. Without a new album, there's pretty much no reason for her to return to Canada or the US.

I really think there’s a high chance the album will be out by summer, but even if not, I don’t see why that prevents her from touring considering she barely plays new songs anyway. Like I am still not getting this logic that she has to have a new album out in order to tour. Legacy acts still tour despite not releasing anything new for decades, because they are playing almost nothing but hits anyway.

Wohoo, I’m in for Amsterdam and Brussels, still struggling for Prague and London but yay, truly better than nothing!

Not them adding the Poland show instead of Spain, Portugal, Hungary etc. + It's going to be 2/3 empty.

I checked for Brussels but everything seems sold out. I can't get a refund for Cologne only a voucher and that's something I hardly use, especially for Cologne. So I hold on to my ticket and we'll see how it is in March with COVID and such, might sell it since I only bought it for the VIP tickets with early entry and I haven't heard from Tunespeak yet...
But I'll definitely attend Amsterdam.

You meant: why tour agencies from Spain, Portugal, Hungary aren’t brave enough to organize her show, right? No. There's a difference between being brave and stupid. Someone pushed the Poland show, but at the end it won't be attended. Barcelona or Budapest should've been on the list, and them not being there is probably because of Avril's tour agency.

Avril doesn’t have a tour agency. Tour agencies reach out to managers to schedule dates. Thanks for assuming the Polish date won’t be attended. May I ask where’s your insight coming from? And why are you so negative towards people (concert agency) willing to invest (or as you put it - waste) money? All in all Avril earns.
