What shows are everyone going to? Would be so fun to meet up with other fans. 🙏🏻 In the past some fans had a piece of tape on their shirt with their bandaids-name

Consider Milan date is almost sold out .. Didn’t expect such a big venue in Poland, but smaller in UK.. 🤔 I have to admit it’s weird they didn’t upgrade the venues in the UK but looking at the demand, for a reason they cannot

I'm quite surprised that her team added a Poland date...in an arena no less.
Is Avril really that popular in Poland?

I’m not surprised they added one - one of her longer existing fan clubs originates in Poland, I’m surprised on the venue size. The promoter says the streaming numbers in Poland made them book such a venue though

Hmm streaming numbers don’t seem like a good measure for booking concert venues as it’s way easier for someone to stream a song than buy a concert ticket. Many can’t afford it.

Can you use resold tickets in Amsterdam? I've bought some tickets last year, turns out they were under the original ticket holders name and couldn't be used.

Can you use resold tickets in Amsterdam? I've bought some tickets last year, turns out they were under the original ticket holders name and couldn't be used. All tickets have the name of the original buyer just to avoid resale, which is forbidden by the terms and conditions and even illegal in some countries. That's why I'm so astonished that even in Bandaids instagram there is a post to put in contact people to resell tickets (but also stating that Bandaids do not participate and it's up the buyer to check if it's a safe purchase, like saying: hey we encourage you to this questionable and insecure activity but don't blame us after). In my opinion, instead, people should be encouraged to ask for the refund of their tickets if they cannot go to the concert so another fan can benefit from a secure and legal purchase. I mean, come on, even in this thread people tried to resell tickets for more money than they cost. Trying to benefit economically of the desperation of other fans who are looking for tickets to see their idol, through a practise not allowed by the terms and conditions of the legal purchase, it's for me as worse as posting a leaked song for example, which is forbidden on this forum (and understandable). Just imagine the disappointment of a fan when, trying to get in the venue, their name on the ticket doesn't coincide with the name on the covid certificate (for example) and they are not allowed to enter after travelling and paying double for a resold ticket. Just my opinion in a good vibe, don't wanna sound harsh.

I can only speak for myself, but my name isn’t even on the tickets I bought, it’s literally a QR code, and any shows I’ve been to in the past they’ve never even glanced towards the name, so I don’t think there’s any worry there. People use resale tickets all the time.
I think the issue here is people can’t get refunds, just vouchers, hence selling them instead. Personally I’ve never sold tickets before (mainly cos I’ve never missed a show I’ve bought tickets for!) but my hand has been forced a little here.
Agree re selling them for more than their value though.

Hmm streaming numbers don’t seem like a good measure for booking concert venues as it’s way easier for someone to stream a song than buy a concert ticket. Many can’t afford it. But it’s one of two measurable factors for bookings - another is physical album purchases which as you noticed, don’t mean a person can afford a concert ticket. But there’s no better way to measure a potential interest because how to do it? Agencies always do this looking at copies sold I can only speak for myself, but my name isn’t even on the tickets I bought, it’s literally a QR code, and any shows I’ve been to in the past they’ve never even glanced towards the name, so I don’t think there’s any worry there. Agree re selling them for more than their value though. I think it depends on the agency - I recall many times they checked my ID looking at the ticket holder name. I think many resell tickets simply to earn money because gettig a refund doesn’t mean that 🙃

Ticketswap is a legal company in the Netherlands, there's no problem with having a different name on your ticket. They never look at names or ask for ID, I regularly visit AFAS Live (the location where Avril will perform) with tickets I bought on Ticketswap, only the tickets will be scanned and you can enter the venue!
