I think the acoustic version was the only one ever out there. They just remastered it specially for the limited edition I think there has always been a version with a full band. Because in the new version there are other vocal parts of Avril with a slight difference in lyrics. Why was also on the Cliff Fabbri's tracklist for Let Go. But these are just my guesses.

Thatâs true, and Avrilâs voice sounds completely different on the full band version too, she sounds almost younger? I think theyâre actually 2 completely different versions.

Yeah thats true. There are parts in the Let Go anniversary edition with a few extra things thrown in so you might be right I wouldn't say they are two different complete versions lol the only difference is its not acoustic.

They are different but both were recorded by the same time, around 2001. "Why" acoustic is the initial demo of this song, as she said before.

Duh but you have no idea what was changed up a bit and remastered for the 20th Anniversary edition since the original acoustic one has been the only one that got released and was available before this latest let go album. I never said they weren't reordered around the same. Obviously Avrils 2022 voice is nothing like what it was when she was 15.

Since Feldmann isn't credited on the 20th anniversary version of "Why" as he's in "Breakaway" (2022), i'm sure they didn't change a thing, not recentely. I don't think he'd accept to change things without receiving the credits. And the instrumental of Why (20th anniversary version) is too "Let Go b-sides". I can't picture Feld creating something too similiar of that bunch of leaked 2001 songs, in therms of production.

Still you don't know for a fact whether something was changed and something wasn't. So no more point in talking about this with someone who has no idea and I'm guessing that your English isn't very good as you are quoting me with absolutely nothing to do with what I was talking about.

Feldman has everything to do with the 20th anniversary edition and its songs, believe it or not. Heâs credited as the producer/remixer of the entire album. Heâs the one that made any production changes and remixes. And most importantly, heâs responsible for the removal of the âyeah yeahâ on the final chorus of Complicated đ Also I have no idea about the whole âwhyâ situation. I just wanted to say that Feldman is responsible for any production changes from the original. So itâs possible there was a version of why that sounded like how it sounds now before it was officially released on the 20th.

Praying for a UMS (20th Anniversary Edition) This would be fab but I think she may just stick with LG, which is fair as itâs her first and biggest album. Would love a UMS one though, just for the bonus tracks

If she did a UMS 20th Anniversary, it would be Fresh Money for her. Fans would buy again, just like Let Go 20th. Let's not forget Under my Skin sold 12+ M copies worldwide, and it was her biggest physical success behind Let Go. So who knows.. it's my favorite album and the fan-favorite in general I think.
Anyways if she does it, I want NEW outtakes though, not like the Let Go ones that we had already heard them all.

Imagine we actually get her full version of daydream, and a handful of tracks weâve never even heard!!! I canât wait for the 20th of UMS!!

I kind of doubt she'll do an UMS 20th anniversary edition. Other than MHE she seems to forget that album even exists. I think they only did it for LG because it was her first and most iconic album.
