I don’t know much about Yungblud but I loved the IWY duet and Yorkshire accents are the best accents in the world, so I’m happy.

Yes the cover it’s Sid And Nancy. They used the same leather jacket for Avril and the same Chain for YB. This would also explain why Avril cut her hair, and very likely only for this photoshoot.  |

Hm, I don't think it was meant just for the shoot. I think the shorter hair is staying for a while. She expressed desire in cutting her hair short just a few months ago, so clearly it's an idea that she's been toying with for some time. Plus, the reception to the new look has been great so far and she seems happy with it too, so I imagine she's gonna want to keep it - and I really hope she does!
She can always wear extensions again whenever she misses having long hair, so it's not like it's an irreversible change anyway.

That cover will drive those who already call Avril a punk poser absolutely bollocks! I love it. As to Avril's new 'do? I think she cut it for herself as much as for a new era look. i.e. she cut it because she's getting married soon. When she and Mod are still only engaged three years from now you can make fun of me, but until then I'm sticking to my assessment. |

IHeart Radio Canada and Virgin Radio stations across Canada have been spamming out Tweets this morning promoting Avril and Yungblud's collab to tens of hundreds (Hey, we're BIG in landmass but only moderate size population-wise!) of radio listeners here so it looks like there is a push to get it some major radio play. I don't think we saw this with the Love Sux singles. I feel a hit coming that crosses over to the general public.

Guys if everyone survived the 2012 half-shaved head we can survive this lol. I think it looks good on her. It’s a nice change that makes her look more her age but still youthful. And as said above, she can always add extensions if she misses it, which by the way, I think she’s had it like this for quite some time now , but she’s been using extensions.

I bet she thought about cutting her hair months ago but didn’t actually do it until now because she wanted to save it for something special, like the start of a new era or in this case new music. The announcement got so much more attention because of it.

They're both using handcuffs in the single cover. I wonder if they are going with a police chase in the MV. It would be interesting to see avril in action, running and playing the bad girl in a music video again. Avril breaks out of prison from LIWHYM and teams up with a fellow convict, falls in love again, and the cycle continues? 🤔 |

He does have a very strong Yorkshire accent. I can imagine it sounds funny to those unfamiliar with it . He's not trying to cover it up as some do when they become famous, so that's good imo. Yeah it might be that 😂 I just can't get used to his voice but I'm excited for this collab Omg I’m sorry but as a northeasterner in America his accent drives me nuts. He sounds like he’s putting on a voice on purpose and like purposely exaggerating the way he talks in order to sound extra British. “OY AHVE GAWT AH NUUUU SHINGLE CUHHHMIN OOUUTTT WIF AVRUL LUHVEEENNN SHOOON” 😄 I get that’s just how he talks but man it drives me BONKERS listening to that lmao I’m still excited for the song though! Wouldn’t it be funny if in the video they did some funny little cutscene in the middle or end where Yungblud is trying to say something to Avril and she can’t understand him and it becomes like a battle of the British vs Canadian accent? 😄 |

I’m British but I’ve never heard anyone with an accent as pronounced as his, especially when you realise he’s from Doncaster and the accent there doesn’t sound like his at all. Very weird and kind of irritating to me. |
