I don't know where to write this, but I was at the Rock am Ring festival today and saw mod sun from the front row. he covered over the Avril tattoo and he was playing a new unreleased song and he started out saying it was about being cheated on and the song lyrics are very much indicative of Avril. I filmed the song if anyone is interested I'll try to upload it. Yes please! maybe at Random Discussion Thread? I'm curious about the lyrics |

I wonder if it's a "chicken or egg" type thing with how her music seems so influenced by who she's hanging out with? Most of her friends, it seems, are people she met while writing together, so she had to have at least had an inkling of wanting to go that direction with her albums anyway to be working with them? And if those friends are co-writing and/or producing, then it makes sense that those songs would have their influence on them because they were involved in the creation of the song. She also likes listening to a wide variety of genres herself, even if she doesn't necessarily make country or jazz (typically) music, maybe wants to experiment with genres she likes listening to even if she doesn't intend for many/any of the songs that come from those sessions to be on the album she's writing for -like those country songs she wrote while recovering from Lyme.

I will miss this short hair so much It looked so fresh on her I always thought the long hair suits her better but I cant believe she returned to that ridiculous amount of extensions... I miss the short hair |

I like both the short and the long hair. It just depends on how she wears it. But these extensions are indeed ridiculous, and it's sometimes really annoying to watch how she constantly strokes them, as if she's scared of them falling out or something.

I think the same. I really love her long hair, but this kinda short hair suits her well. And it's a great way to look different than always. Just thinking about the new stuff she's creating right now and I feel like we get back the long hair to the album photoshoot and the booklet picture. Maybe she thinks that long hair fits her better. I think this too but on this new photo with the rivets and smokey eyes I am obsessed with the short hair too.
