I was thinking about the general vibe of the album, as LS sounded more aggressive, I would like AL8 to be melancholic like Sum 41 - Underclass Hero. Remember the kinda ballad instrumental from the studio, it reminds me of With Me by Sum 41.

Yeah if it’s maybe supposed to be (possibly) like some sort of sister album to Love Sux, it should show the “other side.” Like how evermore is considered to be in the same general genre as folklore but there are definitely more experimental elements about it, it is similar but still it’s own unique thing and tells other stories folklore doesn’t touch on. So it would be cool for AL8 to have generally the same musical vibes of LS (she’s working with mostly the same people so chances are it’ll sound similar), but she could explore another side to the same stories and themes, or experiment a little to make it it’s own thing.

I feel like she's close to finish the album.
Blink is going on tour in march, Travis will be all around the world so they probably have a deadline already, but I really don't know if we can expect a lead single so soon, IAM is still alive so it'll take a little bit more, I think

Yeah, unless her Euro tour is for the new album and she releases the single and album in the next two months (which is unlikely), I don't think we'll get a single until the fall.

Are we really looking forward to new music from Avril in 2023? If anyone had told me this before, I wouldn't have believed it!
I'm surprised that this is happening nowadays. I mean, I would have expected this in the early years of Avril's career, when she was at the height of her fame. But in any case, what is happening now is amazing!

I love that title too. I wonder what the song is about. I fear another Joker but I secretly hope for her to be a hurricane. Not love or the guy having multiple sides. I wanna hear about the girl being a whirlwind. Give me a twist in the story not the same one we keep seeing on LS like a fun Dare To Love Me.

I hope it'll be a sister album of sorts, and I kind of think it will. I think she's going to explore different themes a bit, not so much talking about how love sucks because now she's in love. I doubt we'll get DTLM-type songs considering she didn't even want to put that one on LS, but I can see her doing a bunch of KMLTWIE-type songs, or how past guys treated her poorly but they're missing out because she's got a great guy now. Then again, I also don't see her having the ability to do an album full of happy songs because she does get bored with them. So idk.

It was all about how insecure she was making albums and feeling like she didn't know what people wanting, fearing she would let them down. It was a really heartfelt song and everyone loved it and thought it was like Avalanche

All Time Low just announced a new album for march, so if the song with Avril (they were in the studio a lot with andrew goldstein) is not there we can already assume it is on AL8

And I remember trying to listen, but I had problems with the internet. And I wake up and oh shit it was just a dream. |

I can't resist but sorry for being off topic Once I had a dream that I was at Avril's house, we were sitting by the fireplace and drinking wine. She was scrolling through Instagram, and I could not say a word to her from embarrassment! She only occasionally looked at me with a surprised look. She was like in 2017 straight blonde. And somehow I dreamed that I was watching a rehearsal of What The Hell and after that the guitarist left Avril, she came up and offered me to perform with her at a concert. It was very funny, considering that I constantly have nightmares and it turns out that Avril saves me not only in life, but also in dreams  |
