She seems very connected with this designer of Vestments. Is it the first time? Maybe this year she gets invited at the Met Gala for the first time. Deisgners can make names of celebrities they want there (and to dress) and they have some priority. Avril has also never been and it's another good thing to get an invitation.
I saw this year's met gala is in NYC May 1 . She has the concert in Poland Apr 30 and then MAY 1 and May 2 free before the date in Cologne, May 3. It's a bit annoying but she could take a flight after Poland show or the day after. She can land in NYC in 8 hours and considering the time zone, she lands in NYC before lunch time so that she has all the time for getting dressed and being there for the gala at evening. Who knows.

I wouldn’t want to have tickets to Avril’s Cologne date if she was going to hustle from Europe to New York and back again for a non-music related fashion event. If she put on a poor show in Cologne after that because she wore herself out travelling, they’d have a valid reason to complain. |

The leather jacket and skirt looks like it would cost a fair bit. Probably worth almost 10 grand or more.
