I get the feeling that each concert is getting better. BTW, I don't know if you're checking TikTok, but opinions there are completely opposite from Instagram. Her tour is being more praised than panned on TikTok, with lots of good comments and good videos, and people sharing good experiences... some even shading Instagram users' complaints.
That's a good thing I guess, cause I feel TikTok opinions for musicians have more impact than those from other social media.
Also, the tour is having a positive impact on her receipts. Complicated reached approximately 900K daily streams, even during the weeknd it performed almost 700K.
This is more or nearly the double compared to the beginning of the year (when the song was receiving around ~400K).

Live Nation doesn't like to risk money or bad press, which is why I loved her tour being promoted by them.
They'll surely try to find agreements with her to rearrange whatever is needed (and possible) and promote this tour to sell the remaining tickets.

Let’s just hope she keeps the momentum going. It seems like the first night had issues due to late soundcheck and audio issues. It’s a shame it didn’t start better but hopefully those issues are resolved going forward and every show they’ll knock it out of the park. I do feel a bit better after seeing more clips and it looks like the show has improved since those opening night errors.
I was wondering if maybe once ATL is gone she will replace FAH with the Green Day cover she mentioned and bring Simple Plan out. A cover makes no sense in the context of a GH set but I guess if she’s going to insist on it I could totally see her and SP doing Basketcase, like Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan doing a Green Day cover is THE most 2000s pop punk thing ever! Lol

I can't get over how much better the production is for this tour - I hope it translates to the festival dates in Europe and she has the same screens etc. that they can wheel on and off. I guess it will be slightly different as some dates will be daylight/early evening,

Does anyone know if when the streamers go off if it only covers the people on the pit/floor, or does it cover the whole arena? I’ll be on the second level of seats so I don’t think it’ll reach us.

I think Simple Plan hinted about singing Sk8er Boi on TikTok. I also thought they would sing the Green Day cover because in Europe some openers sang covers with her.
But now I'm not sure anymore... but I hope that if they sing SB she can add a new song instead.

Yes, it’s a cool promo! So if they have some professional film of the show I wonder if we will get a proper concert film, I mean she hasn’t done one since TBDT and there’d be no better tour to do it again than GH. If they can find a streamer to release it on. She’s been having her video team over last year and nothing happened, they’re probably only doing social media formats |

The last tour she did in Europe. I saw fans’ photos. I’m not sure about North America. In Europe she didn’t do after many shows though, just a handful. For sure in Milan, Offenbach and Manchester. I missed her in Manchester as I had to get back to the airbnb to sleep a little bit at least as my train to London was super early. It was raining and she came out super late :/ I didn’t realize that. I just remember seeing people’s Instagram posts and being so jealous us Canadians didn’t get meet and greets that tour lol. Is Manchester where she sang at a club afterwards and dove into the audience? The clips I saw seemed so unlike her as she’s normally quite guarded in public. Her fans must have made her feel comfortable there. It looked like so much fun! |

I wonder if that has anything to do with TikTok being a younger generation’s platform. As someone has said before on this thread, this show is probably great for people who haven’t seen her live before and are more casual fans. Though one of the new interns where I work (who is a university student so in her early 20s) said that she was at the same Avril show I was in 2022 and she was shocked at how low energy Avril was. I didn’t find her to be low energy but I was lucky enough to be up close so I could see her beaming throughout which definitely changes the overall vibe when a performer isn’t moving much. Also, as a long time Avril fan, I know what to expect. |

Love that song - it’s iconic- but I can’t hear it again. I’ve just heard it too many times in my life lol. Same with Complicated. I can’t imagine how bored she must be singing them still all these years later. (Maybe that’s why she does the weird accent sometimes- trying to entertain herself?) I hope they do one of Simple Plan’s hits like I’d Do Anything although I realize this is very unlikely. It would be cool if they did Basketcase and I can see that happening. But most likely it will be Sk8er Boi… Edit: I’m assuming this is talking about SP and Avril performing together. I can’t see SP performing one of her greatest hits without her on her GH tour. The SP video was Pierre asked Jeff if he believes in manifesting because they’ve been covering Sk8er Boi at some of their shows and then Avril asked them to join her tour. I’m not sure it means they will be performing the song. |

I hope she can keep this tour consistent from now on because it’s such good promo for her if she impresses people. It’s clear the audience isn’t just hardcore fans so if she can deliver the casual fans are more likely to keep up with what she does next.
It’s still too short obviously lol. But at the very least keep it consistent from now on ..and preferably from the start next time.. but I won’t hold my breath on that

I believe a documentary was confirmed by UK media during her tour there, including footage from that private show. However, I don't think it'll be released before the Greatest Hits album. If it's true, it's likely to come out in support of her first compilation album, or even for her future new studio album. BTW, there's a new review for the tour.
