[ALBUM] Greatest Hits & Album Represses

As far as UMS20th Anniversary edition we still have to wait. Clearly all the spotlights are for the GH now, but when LG 20 was released, Avril "officially" announced it hours later it was on Spotify, and only in the upcoming days vinyl popped up for pre-order.

Who knows. If a digital version pops up, a vinyl can pop up too. Maybe as you say there won't be a worldwide release of that, but probably some pressings like the Japanese one can happen.

By the way I love the Marbled effect on UMS, it's the most particular one and different from the original Red vinyl of UMS which we already have!

The Let Go 20th Anniversary vinyl was also marbled just like the UMS repress.

Fans have made it so clear over the years we’d buy an album of rarities or even just want ONE new song on a GH, they won’t even do that, why? It’s like they don’t want to put any effort into it at all and just keep releasing the same songs over and over. I get a standard GH set has more general appeal to a wider audience, whereas an album of Bsides is more for hardcore fans and maybe they don’t have the resources to do both but come on, adding one new song wouldn’t have been that hard. Throw the longtimers a bone here.

I totally agree with Bogo, I hoped for new songs to be included!

As far as the new represses, apparently they're the expanded editions, reason why for the first time they are pressed on a Double LP even albums always pressed on 1. So all the acoustics, bonus tracks we find in the album on spotify will be on a physical format for the very first time. But this is still not official, as far as I know.

As far as the colours instead, I think they're very beautiful. TBDT is pink, Let Go is turquoise just like the cover, I like these colors a lot. Only GL IN white is a bit weird, but it's also true it was already pressed on a beautiful green the first time and it's okay to change colour.

Personally I love UMS with this silver and black marble effect, it is just like the cover background and her hair in the cover. It's true that Red is the "other color" of UMS, but again, UMS was already pressed on a red colour and who knows, maybe they decided to do this silver/black for the repress and using a red colour for UMS20 if it actually will happen.
