I’m just thinking how under appreciated The Calling were. Everyone knows Wherever You Will Go but both of their albums were absolutely flawless. Shame they never really got the attention they deserved.

I really like Evenesence.
They're a rock band with some of the hit singles "My Immortal" and "Bring Me to Life", the video for "Bring Me to Life" has reached 1.3 billion views. "My Immortal" is probably my favorite song from her and one of my favorites overall. The album "Fallen" is my favorite album. Check them out if you'd like!

When I was growing up it was all about My Immortal and BMTL. As a grown-up, I now have an appreciation for Going Under. It's very rock, fun to sing along to, and empowering. I never noticed the lyrics before. The second album also has to Call Me When You're Sober which is one of my all-time favorite songs. Lithium and Lacrymosa are also good. Unfortunately, that's about the extent of their discography. I just always knew Amy had a great voice and was an excellent performer. I don't think Evanescence gets enough credit for their influence on Under My Skin and Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway song, Because Of You. Also, Amy in general since Ben Moody and David Hodges went on to work on several other artists' work and therefore got more attention as writers/producers. But I guess Amy is always talked about as a great vocalist and is the front woman so she gets more praise for that. |

My Immortal was played at my best friends funeral and now I can’t really listen to it lol, which is a bit sad cos it’s a great song.
Bring Me To Life is insane though. I remember it being on the music channels all the time as a kid. Evanescence are one of those artists I only know a couple of songs from, but the ones I do know I love. Idk why I’ve never listened to more really.
One of my favourite artists everrrrr, Hardy, released his new album today where the first half is country and the second half is rock. It’s fantastic so if that’s your thing I defo recommend.
