That's so sad. I hope you will be ok. I have a couple of other friends who have lost loved 1's recently during the pandemic. I hope and pray you'll be ok, Sanyogita.

Some of my friends and relatives who contracted covid have recovered, but it's devastating to learn about other people I know. My colleague's wife passed away who was just 30 leaving behind two toddlers, a friend who had already lost her father few years back lost her mom to covid, some colleagues hospitalised or their loved ones , many of my acquaintances, classmates, friends. Some of my Grandfather and grandma's cousin & friends who were so affectionate towards me passed away too. Literally everyone is infected. There is a group of my community one telegram with 5K+ members- everyday there are messages of people dying. It's so depressing. I can't even sleep at night. Just watching my fav old TV show to get my mind off.

Treat yourself to some comfort food and try and get some rest.

Pls take care as well. Things won’t be better unless this virus goes away completely.

Here in the Netherlands some stores are reopening again and the restaurants and cafes can only have visitors outside on the terrasses for drinks or food from noon to 6PM. Peoplestill have to wear masks in stores but it soooo busy in cafes and restaurant outside. Some tables aren’t 1,5 meter distance between them. I wonder how this goes... a lot of people are lacking the rules and throw parties and barbecue parties... I don’t understand it... people are still dying..

Why. I’m feeling nostalgic. You have your people around you but it all feels kind of fake… Edit: when you’re so excited for that one evening when you’re early off work but it all turns out different (worse for me in that case) its more than a big disappointment right now

I wonder how this goes... a lot of people are lacking the rules and throw parties and barbecue parties... I don’t understand it... people are still dying.. Here people were crowding like crazy, markets, street food etc, atleast in restaurants tables are far away. Plus, there were elections here and they didn't take precautions while campaigning and continued. There was also a popular festival in march (Holi) and people got too excited, (in Holi people play with colors and some people also get high on drinks that have cannabis in them). I knew it was going to blow up badly, looking at people post pictures on social media during Holi. People have been itching to go out and celebrate something. There is a religious fair that happens in India and it shouldn't have happened this year, it looked like the below image, the govt probably didn't ban it as elections were around the corner but people are also stupid. What to do. India is a country of billion plus population and she people live in very densely populated areas. So of course its going to be bad, people are not eally dying because the illness is deadly, its because of lack of oxygen and proper health care.. Anyways, I'm just avoiding watching any kind of news right now. indianexpress.com/article/opinion/india-religious-gatherings-covid-19-kumbh-mela-eid-7299490/

Is that why you feel so? You know I would travel to my Grandma's place (4 hours away by bus) every weekend when I started my first job. I hated staying in PG, generally most girls would go home too so kind of felt lonely and I hated being alone. My boss would deliberately try to make me late so I would miss my bus.. But I generally ran away lol. We don't have any fixed timings at work, just you need to complete atleast 8 hours and we could work from home too. He would purposely keep meetings etc to harass me. I still wouldn't listen, until he finally gave up.. (also I was very good in my work)

I ordered food online today and the delivery guy was a bit mad at me. After he left the restaurant he called me saying that he'd be in my flat in 3 minutes, and I said okay. Then 3 minutes later he's arrived and called me, saying something like, I'm here, how long are you gonna be here to take your food? And I said like okay I'll be there, and he kinda yelled at me by saying "but I've told you that I'll be here in 3 minutes!!!!" so I rushed out from my room downstairs to get my food. Maybe he was expecting me to be exactly THERE when he arrived, maybe time is money, idk. Maybe I was wrong. Could I blame him? Probably not.
