For popular petition, AKA Cookie Monster. I make this post to talk about Gabrielle Aplin a great person and talented singer-songwriter. Here comes a little bio: Gabrielle Aplin (born 10 October 1992) is an English singer-songwriter. Aplin came to public attention after she gained a large online following by posting acoustic covers of songs on her YouTube channel. In February 2012, Aplin signed a recording deal with Parlophone and began recording her début album. She gained mainstream attention the following November when she was selected to record the soundtrack for John Lewis television commercial with a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "The Power of Love", which charted at number 1 on the UK Singles Chart in December 2012. Someone here have any album of her? Any attendance to tours, gigs or something like this?

I have both of her studio albums. Apparently she came to my country for promotion in 2013, but I missed it.
Does anyone know when she will go on the world tour again?

Gabrielle Aplin is my favourite singer. Her music is incredible, and her voice is just perfection! I've been listening to her since 2008 when I first saw one of her YouTube videos covering The Liar And The Lighter. I'm so proud of how far she's come, she really deserves all of the success she gets and even more than that too. I've seen her live twice, once in March 2012 and then again in September last year. Her live performances are beautiful, if you ever get the chance to see her live then I highly recommend it, she sounds even better in person.

Actually it was you who introduced her to me. I came across Gabrielle Aplin when I watched the "Salvation" music video and posted it here on Bandaids three months ago. Normally when I find a song that I come like, I just buy it and that's it. But you "liked" the post - that somehow sparked my interest and I decided to check her other stuffs, and was surprised to see that she was insanely talented. I was living under a rock this whole time - I am wondering why she isn't number one, she definitely deserves more success.

I think someone of you, or Cookie Monster or @ezzz, or someone more posted a song on "what song are you currently hearing" or something like this. But the thing that makes me create the thread was a comment in "random discussion" of Cookie Monster saying that gabrielle needed so much her own thread. I heard some songs but was a fast listening. And i have the concert of Simple Plan the 24 february (tomorrow) so i don't remind well the songs. Maybe this weekend i will hear again.

Haha I didn't realise I'm really glad that you liked her music, it's such a crime that she isn't much more well known. Which is your favourite album, song etc?

There's not a single track on her studio albums that I didn't like, but if I were to choose
English Rain : Alive, November, Salvation, Evaporate
Light Up the Dark : Skeleton, Heavy Heart, Hurt, A While, Letting You Go, The House We Never Built
The House We Never Built is undeniably my favorite song of hers.

As far as I am aware it only exists as a live version on the iTunes festival EP and there is no studio recording of it, which is surprising since she seemed so fond of it, I thought it at least would have been on English Rain. Have you listened to her EP's? If so, what did you think of them?

Never Fade EP was my favorite, I liked her folk rock sound.
I liked her two cover songs from Acoustic EP, but in other tracks her young voice was too thin for my taste.
Home EP was cool, especially "Keep Pushing Me Away", but I didn't feel like listening to other tracks again.
Are there any officially recorded live performance videos from 2015 where she sings tracks from her second album other than Sweet Nothing?

Yes I know what you mean, although I really like all of her earlier songs, her voice hadn't properly matured yet. I really like Keep Pushing Me Away too. Shame you weren't as keen on the others, Out On My Own is one of my favourite songs. Have you heard her Please Don't Say You Love Me EP? Stranger Side and Rings Round Roses from that EP are great. There aren't that many but I've seen a few officially recorded versions of songs from Light Up The Dark, here's a few of them:
