Birdy is about to release her third studio album "beautiful lies". Who is excited and happy about these good news? Any Birdy fans here?

I don't think is disappointing, i think the album will be totally recognizable birdy. Some radio friendly songs are fine, i'm ok with doing some radio friendly songs. Avril did some radio friendly with each album.
I think some artists are mainstream the minute they begin their career, and some are willing to be mainstream or famous, but unable.
I think birdy is a mainstream artist since the moment she signed with "Warner Music". She can be famous or not, i think this is independent from being mainstream.
I want to hear the whole album "Beautiful lies" and buy a physical copy.
"‘I am a bit scared because some of the songs are more upbeat, so I am going to be standing on the stage and there is pressure on me to sort of dance. I don’t think I could be taught to do any proper “moves” but I am going to have to learn how to sway and not look weird. I am terrified because I am so clumsy. And began writing her own music (lyrics + rhythm + music) at the age of 8-10.

She was a commercial musician ever since she signed her record deal, but her past albums didn't have radio-friendly songs. The recent singles "Let it All Go" and "Keeping Your Head Up" are definitely radio-friendly materials - and she softened her British accent for Americans.

But yes, I am going to check out Beautiful Lies when it's released.

They were radio singles, but they weren't as much as radio-friendly as her recent two singles.

Beautiful Lies is overall an amazing pop record. Birdy has departed from her previous indie folk stuffs and went full on mainstream pop, but there are still a lot of indie pop stuffs going on. While Avril's "Hello Heartache" sounds like Chinese traditional music, Birdy's "Beautiful Lies" slightly sounds like a crossover between pop and Korean traditional music. (but I am pretty sure that Birdy has never listened to Korean stuffs)

The singles are pretty generic, but at least "Wild Horses" is the best one among them.

I think the best song in this record is "Take My Heart".
