I think it was $17-18, whereas on the Barnes & Noble website it would have been $23. I wanted to get another DVD as well so I figured I'd just order both from Amazon. I'd say $17 for both the CD and DVD is pretty good. I tried checking eBay but there were some that were insanely priced. It's probably a rare find these days since it's kind of old. Hopefully the Reputation tour will have some kind of recorded concert, even if it's just an Apple exclusive like 1989.
She's been doing a fact about the tour each day on her IG story. Yesterday she showed the fan lounge for the tour which will be called the Rep Room and it's based on the LWYMMD video, there's a throne to sit on and plastic snakes wound around the walls. She also revealed there are 3 different stages and she will do about 10 songs from previous albums.

I think that is a very reasonable price Bogo. I can’t tell you how much I like that DVD and I really can’t figure out why.....maybe it’s because I didn’t know much about her until I saw it then and she stole my heart! I couldn’t care less what ALL the haters say. Taylor is super talented and more of a “showman” than I think people realize. She’s an Entertainer! I can’t wait to see her. Despite all the naysayers, her first Rep tour date in AZ has already broken the attendance record (total ticket sales) and it’s still 10 days away. She might not sell out all these huge arenas but she’s definitely sold more tickets than 1989 and at a much higher price.

Gonna watch maybe tonight or over the weekend.

Finally got to sit down and watch the Speak Now DVD last night! There were things I liked about it and things I didn't.
It reminded me a lot of the Fearless Tour, but on steroids. The set design was awesome, the lighting effects, fireworks, and the different stages, like how she had the rotating tree so that the middle of the audience could see her up close for a few songs. The costumes, as always, were beautiful. Her vocals sounded exactly like the CD. I really liked the staging for Enchanted in particular. A lot of the staging elements felt very Broadway-inspired. I found out apparently that Taylor began her career by auditioning for musicals, so it makes sense why all of her tours have always had a theater influence. I also think it should be noted that most of the songs she performed on the tour were all written by herself, which is impressive. Everything was very detail-oriented, as all her shows are, and it's impressive when you think how many moving pieces there are, how many people it takes, to make everything go perfectly. I particularly really enjoyed her medley of Fearless with I'm Yours and Hey Soul Sister. Wish that had been included on the live CD. As for the CD itself, I listened to it once and probably never will again. I didn't really enjoy the covers included on it and all the original songs sound pretty much the same as the original CD. I'd have liked to have the Fearless medley on it instead.
All that being said, there were a couple things I didn't like so much. Her usual hair flipping and making those surprised faces constantly. A lot of it felt too calculated, too scripted. Her shows have always been scripted and choreographed, but even like her speeches while introducing the songs just felt too scripted. Not enough spontaneity. It kind of felt like every single movement was calculated and choreographed to the exact second. I can't imagine if something goes wrong how badly that screws everything up. I couldn't stand her facial expressions acting all angry in Dear John. It felt fake and overdone to me. Otherwise, I overall did enjoy it. And of course being how young she was and it being her second tour, it was really excellent for that time in her career, not a lot of performers her age then could do what she did or were that involved in the design of the tour as she was.

That is a fair assessment and I agree with most of it. I think the "Bang for the Buck" value was sky high. I wish I could've seen it myself! The best part for me was Long Live followed by Fifteen and the grand ending Love Story. She is a bonafide Super Star and she looked gorgeous.

I haven’t touched a piano in years and for the last 45 minutes or so I sat down to try playing All Too Well and Out of the Woods (they share the same chord structure, surprisingly). It felt really nice to be able to do that. And on my way to and from work today I played the Speak Now album. Might play through RED tomorrow.

Did you every watch the whole Apple 1989 tour video? Yes, I loved it! And I wish they had released it to the public either by DVD or at least YouTube or iTunes instead of a subscription-based platform. I only got to see it because I signed up for the free trial. I actually just saw last night someone uploaded the whole thing to YouTube a week ago but I’m sure it will get removed soon. :/ Rep Tour starts today! She wrote on IG that this is the most excited she’s ever been about a tour.
