I haven't listened to her new stuff, but I have her first album The Spirit Room. I also like a couple songs from her sophomore album Hotel Paper. I always felt like Avril got all the credit for starting the female pop rock movement even though Michelle released her album a year before Avril. Michelle was really one of the first artists doing it. Unfortunately she disappeared for over 10 years after her second album. Her album was shelved twice, according to an article I read. I don't really care enough about her music to follow her new stuff, but I occasionally check out what she's doing. A couple songs that were supposed to be on her album West Coast Time sounded promising, obviously they never got released. I still like her Spirit Room album though.

I liked her older content a lot. But when it comes with her newer ones, not sure!
