Honestly i don't see that difference from the Avril before Lyme. LOL Her performances since 2011 have been lacking of energy and the moves are always the same: the hand wave for ex.

Not everyone had "Head Above Water" my account just said her name under tour listings. But I'm pretty sure she'll name it that 😔
For me, I haven't seen her live ever. So it's a must for me this time. For all I know this could be her last....in a while. Off topic but do you think she'll continue these half ass resurgences into the music world every few years?
I can deal with a shorter show and a slow paced one. I really just enjoy her sitting and singing to me. I'm not all for the playing with the audience (HW). She's never really been a "performer" to me so I don't care. It would be annoying to see her do this though.
(There's no audience, I know. But come on she's done the pacing on HAW performances)
The only thing I worry about a shorter show is if she plays all her "hits". Complicated, SB, IWY, MHE, GF are her only hits IMO just 5! The rest please all new music or from the last 3 albums. And a few medleys to add more songs. Also absolutely no Abbey Dawn PLEASE.

As some of you said, I rather see her standing there like a stone and sing well than seeing her jumping around but with voice cracks and running out of breath. Nah, thanks but nope.
She should just get singing training again and probably rearrange some of her songs to fit a more acoustic-balladly show. I don't really want to spam here and anything but...you should go and watch SoHyang if you don't know her. She barely moves on stage, but man...her voice technique and the arrangements of her songs are just from another world. She just needs her voice. (Devil or KHO are songs she would definitely perform)
Avril is capable of more...I know that.

I'm so OK with having her just sitting there and singing songs acousticly. I know I've said it a thousand times but The roxy theatre performance was so much better than ANY of the ALTour performances, and I'm not talking about the ones where she wasn't ill but the first shows. I'd love to see her there just singing her heart out and listening to the HAW songs in a different way like she did with Losing grip, way back during TBDTour. AL6 is less than an hour long, having into account that she won't play all of the songs from the new album but ... the show could really last 60 minutes or minutes longer. I'm so tired of songs like IAGWIW, HW and also SK8er boi even though is one of biggest hits. I need something more fresh, something new from her while playing live.

I really miss the old her where she really rocks during concert. Bonez tour and TTSMU are the best! Now she's just like 'fuck it I have to tour to make money'. Don't say it's about her health, she looked bored and forced since BS tour and I dont think it will be different this time. I hope she will tour in small theatres like the Roxy theatre. More intimate and personal, she can interact more with the fans. She won't be able to sold out big arenas, not even half of it I think.

The Black Star Tour is her best tour to date after the Bonez Tour. Lacking energy? I’d recommend watching a few of her upbeat performances during that tour. The woman sang 20+ songs each night, her longest setlists are from that tour. She interacted with the audience, got off the stage to hug/take picture with fans/sing with them, played the piano/electric guitar/acoustic guitar, would randomly bring back NH, ICDB, Hot, KHO, brought back an old classic like Tomorrow for her Canadian shows with Evan and gave one of her best live vocal performances (not saying overall they were her best, but it sure had its standout moments). She didn’t sing the entire album, but at least performed 7 songs from GL each night. I think it’s the tour where she felt happiest and most comfortable with.

Indeed!! Do you think she will add tour dates in Europe in 2020? because after all the shows now listed, the Holidays are there in no time and I doubt she's gonna perform during the Holidays

You call this ''energetic'' I call this ENERGETIC www.youtube.com/watch?v=Thats hardly even fair. You’re basically comparing a random BST performance with one of her best live performances ever. Budokan is the best concert in her career. Let’s compare it to this:
