The merch from that photo just looks really lazy, especially the hat. It literally just has her name on it. Any fan could have made better stuff than this. They are overcharging for crap to make people think they are getting quality stuff lol

Basically unless you want a bunch of merch and a basic autographed poster, IMO it's not worth the extra price. I feel like the VIP package is kind of lame if it doesn't include a M&G. I can understand why she didn't want to do one this era and it was nice to offer some sort of upgraded package for fans, but I don't think a bunch of merch really makes it worth the price. As I said before, I wish they had had different posters for each show or even each leg maybe, that way it feels like you are getting something unique and exclusive. For the concert I‘ve been to yesterday I‘ve got VIP but only for the M&G. Of course it was great to be early but other than that I didn’t even look at the merch. I usually don’t buy any merch or buy them at the end of the show. So.. yes VIP without M&G is not really something I would pay for.

They are overcharging for crap to make people think they are getting quality stuff lol I thought they could have done more also. The stickers are fun for some I guess (decorate your laptop or whatever), the keychain is useful, the plastic souvenir ticket is something almost all merch packs come with. I thought the hat was odd with just the name at first, but I realized they kept it simple just like all of the artwork for the posters/album/etc. It's the same text used on her album cover and the album and tour don't really have a logo this time so they can't use a logo on anything. If you aren't interested in the merch and can't get EE, then you get to save that money and use it for travel or tour merch at the stand.

You can't tell buy the photo, but that key chain is 3D/relief/sculpted (at least it was for US VIP package). Not saying that makes it worth the price, but it's nicer than it looks in the photo. The ticket is a nice souvenir ticket (plastic/not printed on paper), and the hat I think is VIP exclusive, so if you're into getting exclusive merch, that is nice. If you got EE, it might be worth it to you and the merch would just be souvenirs from your concert. Definitely get in line early for merch. The line never ended at both concerts I attended. Side note - If you're into autograph collecting, I've noticed from photos posted online that some posters just have a signature (the one that isn't totally legible as she signs LOTS of these), some have a very legible signature (think the electronic version on her HAW CD insert or in any email sent from her website), and some have a heart above the signature. "Collect em all" Do they sell merch after shows aswell as before? Just thinking the line might not be so big after as it is before.

They do, but it seemed like the line was about the same length every time I went by that area, even after the show. It may vary by location though depending on how big the venue is and how many merch stands they have. I believe the two concerts I went to only had one merch stand.

When I went the line was really long but in reality I got through in 10 minutes. Provided that you know what you want or choose while waiting in line so that you know what to ask for when it’s your turn, it honestly doesn’t even take as long as it looks like it does.

There wasn't really a line when I got there. Just a few people looking. It was around the time that Jagwar Twin was already on stage and people people were scattered around in their seats. It was a bigger venue though so it really depends on the place and time.

Hi everyone I'm very excited to see Avril in Vienna next year. So glad they moved to Stadthalle as I missed out on tickets for the smaller location. This will be my 2nd time seeing her live after I also visited her last show in Austria in 2008, which for some reason she didn't play in Vienna, Graz or another City but in the small 20k town Leoben. I remember her website saying "Vienna" instead of "Leoben" so I think she probably had no clue where she was playing

Guys, I'm thinking about buying the VIP for Vienna concert. There is no EE tho. My question is: do u think its worth it? Autographed, limited edition Avril Lavigne Tour Poster Exclusive Avril Lavigne merchandise bundle including hat, keychain, sticker set and tote bag Collectible Avril Lavigne Commemorative Ticket How the hat and tote bag looks like? I only bought VIP for the Early Entry in Cologne tho. In my own country in Holland there isn't early entry so I didn't bought it there since it's a lot of money just for the merch. The merch is kinda cool but overpriced when it doesn't have early entry in my opinion. I hope there will be a mug too! I like mugs! Clothing is not my thing since it never fits the way I want so I have to skip that and I hope there will be other things too choose from

They do it quite a lot in the US actually

I only want a mug since that is the only thing I will be using (every morning coffee). I may will buy a t-shirt but i will never wear it maybe only for pijama

The merch is ugly af, however, I really like what he did with his stuff http://instagr.am/p/B3GR6LTFojM I'm still considering getting the upgrade but only because of the EE. I'd probably sell the merch afterwards. The only item I'd be interested in keeping is the special ticket. I already have several autographs and I don't really like the way she's writing her signature since GL / AL era. They always look very sloppy most of the time. Her tour merch is generally horrible. I always see other artists having really nice items like special books / programs for their VIP packages and she or better saying the people responsible for this don't even seem to make an effort to create something nice. They are always giving away the cheapest shit possible.

I agree, I would have loved a tour book this era.
