According to a website called rateyourmusic, people rated this album as dance pop and electropop. Seriously I can't hear any influence of it on the album (maybe they based it because of Hello Kitty???), it doesn't even sound as close as Hook Me Up by The Veronicas which is for me a proper pop-rock leaning dance/electropop album. I don’t know if dance pop is accurate but a lot of it is electropop influenced, like a lot of the Martin Johnson tracks (not just HK, but SOS, Hello Heartache, HTNGU, 17). Most of the tracks don’t use real instruments (instead use drum machine beats, for example) and therefore you could technically qualify it as “electropop.”

I think genre's are so hard to pinpoint these days. If it uses fake drums it's not "pop rock" for some people.
Sidenote, I wonder if this is why Spotify thinks dance pop is my favourite genre 😂. I do like it though but I call it pop or top 40 music.
