The above quote came from Kate Hudson's character Penny Lane in 2000's Almost Famous. Aside from just being a memorable quote from the severely underrated, previously mentioned movie, it's also where the name "Avril Bandaids" originated from. With that being said, which Bandaiders have actually seen the movie? For those that have seen it, you can share your thoughts and appreciation for the film below while the rest of you can get on to watching it (as long as you don't want to be a flop like the film's worldwide grossing)!

It's not under rated by me. It is in my top ten, all time favorite movies. I've watched this move at least 30 times. The sound track of this movie is the soundtrack of my late teens and early 20s. Back in the era of this movie, I was a photographer for a local entertainment weekly magazine. I had back stage passes for the concerts of many of the bands mentioned in the movie. Some of my pics were also published in Rolling Stone. A place depicted in the movie, Jim Swingos Keg and Quarter, is a place I used to eat and party all the time. It was mere block from the camera store where I had a part-time job. Avril has stayed at this hotel and eaten there. Here is a pic of her with one of the owners sons, Dan Swingos. The writer of the movie, Cameron Crowe, used to be married to Ann Wilson. I've been a fan/admirer of hers for about 40 years. So, yeah. I'm feel very connected to this flick.

I've been telling myself to watch the movie for such long time... It's a fine film. I wouldn't say it's in my top ten or anything, but it's definitely worth watching. Just don't do what I did and watch the extended cut on your first viewing. It's 40 minutes longer than the theatrical cut, which makes it seem way longer than it needs to be. I'm NOT the sort of person who gets bored easily, btw.
