It may be a busy weekend for Avril news and goings-on so I'm posting my 'what the hell?' question for this week today instead of tomorrow. Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to participate.
From perfume and fashion, cook books and Christmas albums, and yes even a movie based on her iconic classic Sk8er Boi Avril has had many passion projects over the course of her career. Some of them have happened, and some, as yet, have not. But what I'm asking is if YOU could pick one project for Avril to make a new passion project for herself, what would it be? Obviously, answers outside of music may be more varied and interesting but anything you want to see Avril do is fair game.
For me, I'd love to see Avril do some on camera TV work. My Dream Avril Project would be for her to host a 24 episode, half-hour show for one of the travel channels called Avril Lavigne's Canadian Tour. Each week she'd visit a different small or large city/town/hamlet all over Canada and talk a little about it's history, talk to the people who live there, sample the local cuisine and see the sights. Nothing too serious, just super light and breezy. Maybe going from place to place in that big tour bus of her. I don't think she'd have a co-host (sorry Mod Sun) but maybe a producer that would interact on camera with her. Other than that it would be pure Avril Lavigne personality. A real showcase for Canada and for Avril herself.
Ok, that's MY Avril Dream Project, what's yours?

Would love an autobiography or “tell all” book, but only if she were willing to dig deep and give us the real dirt on stuff from her career, not just surface level shit we already know. Or a documentary where she discusses her career, like she’s supposedly working on now.

Weekend's here! Surely you can spare a moment and let us know what your personal Dream Avril Project would be? Take a turn as a fashion model? Climb Everest to raise money for her foundation? Team up with a NFT company to sell digital real estate and tokens for something or other her fans can't afford anyway? Well, Avril did that last one already but you get the idea!
DREAM PROJECTS!
Let's Go!

A TV show like the one Kelly Clarkson does,or maybe one about Pop Punk or something nostalgic talking about music and fashion of the 1990s and 2000s. I also wish she would show us her paintings and can make it a business and sell them. I'd also like her to be a judge on The Voice and to have her own Podcast on Spotify and other streaming services.

I would love to see her being a mentor to upcoming female rock chicks. She was extremely lucky to make it, she still adores Shania Twain to this day and she paved the way for a whole generation of young women to make a career without the 'good girl'-image. But I feel she has never really 'given back' or made serious effort to help other girls make it in the industry. I would love to see her booking young female groups to open for her, to support unknown female artists with a feature or whatever. Let them visit her in the studio, learning from her etc.

Like I get she has her core group of guys she gets on with and she shouldn’t work with people she doesn’t feel connected to, but it would be nice to see her include more women in her work. I feel it would bring a different perspective to her songwriting.

my dream Avril project? I think it could be quite real. I want Avril to record a video of something like a mini documentary - a tutorial about how she writes songs)) From the idea, recording and release? or just she could share the result without official release. I just wanted to learn and see more of Avril's work process in the studio.

A Vegas residency! Our girl deserves it. First of all pick a nice stage, her concerts all have the same basic set design and concept, not including The Best Damn Tour. Give a little more thought to the production of the show. Add sparklers, those fog things in different colors, and confetti, I like the balloons and fire. Choreography, hear me out, you know how she just stands there feeling the music and maybe she waves a hand offhandedly to the side and skips along to the music? Well, I would like just a little more thought put into her movements. Next, her outfits have gotten better but I would have more varied styles and themes. Now, this isn't important to me personally but for Vegas, she could play different instruments again. I'd have a piano section, an acoustic guitar set, rocking out on the drums. And that's my dream project, A Bigger Wow Vegas residency show. I may edit/add to this later.

Female collabs, guest musicians, writers, producers, mv directors etc
