 Hi, this is a thread to talk about the singer-songwriter Charli XCX. Feel free to comment all that you want about Charli XCX, her music, her style, her videoclips and all related Charli XCX. First i want to introduce Charli XCX. Charli XCX is the stage name of Charlotte Emma Aitchison (England, United Kingdom, 2 august 1992), 23 years in 2015. a british singer and songwriter. Charli have 3 studio albums and planning more in the future. Her first album was 14 (2008), True Romance (2013) and Sucker (2014). Charli has a vocal register of mezzosoprano, very similar to Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne, ranging 2 octaves and 6 notes. Her vocal range goes from G2 to F5 (B♭6). Her style is sometimes compared to Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne. Charli XCX experiences sound-to-colour synaesthesia. She states, "I see music in colours. I like most of her songs. I think Charli XCX have talent for her style of music. It's entertaining and fun . But is not easy to be Charli's fan Because sometimes, in certain moments, Charli XCX is a little crazy human. Charli started very young as hobbyist singer-songwriter. In 2006, age 14, she started to record her debut album "14" (same as age). She "finished" her album in 2008. But she never officially released 14, is a rare album. Is an entire unreleased album. She aired and released some of the songs in her MySpace account and in concerts and Raves she attended. Later she made songs like Nuclear Seasons and Stay Away that peaked high. But one that was in almost all pop radio stations and a lot of tv series was I Love It. A song performed by Icona Pop. I started to know about Charli XCX in 2013, with her album True Romance (2013).  The first song i heard of, was Superlove (not in the album). My thought in that moment was: "Superlove is a fresh song" (i'm tired of spanish pop. For me is SO boring). I downloaded True Romance and from the beginning i liked almost all the songs. 1. Nuclear Seasons 2. You (Ha, Ha, Ha) 3. Take My Hand 4. Stay Away 5. Set Me Free 6. Grins 7. So Far Away 8. Cloud Aura 9. What I Like 10. Black Roses 11. You're The One 12. How Can I 13. Lock You Up My favourites songs of True Romance probably are Set Me Free, Take my Hand, Stay Away, How Can I and Nuclear Seasons. After that, Charli continued with songwriting and colaborations. Fancy with singer Iggy Azalea. Just Desserts with Marina and the Diamonds And "Boom Clap". The videoclip of Fancy is inspired on the movie Clueless (1995). 657 Million views. I don't like the song. Just Desserts is up with the expression: en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/just_deserts . with one S not two. 424 Million views. Boom Clap was in the beginning for another artist. But this artist rejected the song because of "bad quality". Now Boom Clap has 242 Millions views on Youtube. The time the radio aired Boom Clap i came obsessed with the song. I think is good. Because the huge sucess of the song. Was included in her new album, the more pop: Sucker (2014). With some good songs.  1. Sucker 2. Break The Rules 3. London Queen 4. Breaking Up 5. Gold Coins 6. Boom Clap 7. Doing It 8. Body of My Own 9. Famous 10. Hanging Around 11. Die Tonight 12. Caught in the Middle 13. "The new album it's going to be so different from the last album [Sucker],” she said. “It’s going to be the most pop thing, and the most electronic thing I’ve done. Charli XCX quoting the lyrics of Shake it Off. I like Charli XCX music for different reasons. But in my mind Charli XCX is a friend of Taylor Swift. I think they have met few times. Charli XCX is releasing her new album mixtape "Pop 2" and i think she named her fans as angels because her last album mixtape was named "Number 1 angel".
