Let's not forget there's a sold-out artist in Canada, it Carly Rae Jepsen, she grew up under parents' music and she won Canadian Idol  Dunno if you have her latest album -"Emotion", the delivering in terms of message and emotion is very clear in picture and perspectives through vocal and instrumentals, near no misleading things in every song To me, it is one of the most underrated album in 2015. I dunno why, does it get a bed promotion? People dun get the album?  Full album: |

Yes, this and Breathe In. Breathe Out. are my favorite albums from this year.
E.MO.TION was critically acclaimed but it didn't sell much. Still, Carly recently said that she's happy with whatever that has happened and she is making her next record, so yay.
My favorite songs: Run Away With Me, Your Type, Making Most of the Night, LA Hallucinations, I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance...

I really liked "I Really Like You", the lead single of this record and I kinda liked "Runaway With Me" too. But I'm not all that into her music. At least not to the point of listening to her albums and anticipating new releases from her. But since, I have heard a lot of people say how good this album is and how much they like it, I'm gonna check out her new album in full sometime during these holidays.

Carly just recently worked with Butch Walker for a cover of the Full House tv show theme. The cover will be used for the upcoming Fuller House show on Netflix.

Not everything, but at least a significant part. But the most important thing is not the fame, the sales or the critical aclamation. These are ephemeral. I think, in this case, if E·MO·TION is a good album maybe can last years or decades. Maybe can become a classic for her fans, like Let Go and Under My Skin are classic for Avril Lavigne fans. It's not only for the present. If she make a good album, maybe the album can become her legacy to the world. |

But more the part 2:30 - 2:47 that is totally repetitive. I don't like the rest of the song, but i think, she could make a version of only this 17 seconds over and over again. Like the repetition in my head.
