 This thread is for talking about all things related "Punk Goes..." Covers, albums and Bands. Punk Goes... is a series of albums released by "Fearless Records" in which "punk pop" and "punk rock" bands perform covers of songs from other genres. As of 2014, the series consists of sixteen compilation albums. Though predominantly a series of cover albums, Punk Goes Acoustic and Punk Goes Acoustic 2 completely deviate from this theme, featuring only acoustic versions of original songs by the featured bands, while 2013's Punk Goes Christmas features a mix of both Christmas-themed original songs and covers. I've listened to a few of those records including Punk Goes Acoustic #01, Pop #01, and Classic Rock. I've only listened to New Found Glory's cover of "Heaven Isn't So Far Away" in Punk Goes Metal. I think my most favorite was The Starting Line's cover of "I'm Real". This one was terrific!

Nice! My most favorite was For All Those Sleeping's cover of You Belong With Me.  Silverstein's cover is great too, and it has a lot of All Time Low influence into it. |

I like the fray a lot. Over my head is from the debut single i think. Awesome! They're a good band. I used to listen to this song on the radio years ago. It's also the one I like by them too. |
