I believe Evan's debut Welcome to the Blacklist Club was a really solid album although I'm still sad over Love/Hate not making the tracklist.  His songs released under "Evan T" are good but I don't think they live up to the aforementioned album aside from Best Years of Our Lives. It's now been about three years since his last single, Still in Love Somehow, so I'm a little more than ready for new music! |

I kinda remember him saying that he retired from making his own music or something? Still, Evan Way and The World Keeps Turning ♥ They're incredibly sad but tell you to go on at the same time. Strong message.

Strong message. That's pretty sad to hear.  I know Evan didn't have much chart success but he still made quality music and had a fanbase. Hopefully one day he decides to "un-retire" since, as you said, his songs such as Evan Way were truly amazing! |

I still listen to Boy meets Girl now and then. But I think, like others, that he has retired as an artist.
I hope though that he and Avril will write a song together. I've always liked their songs.

Some weeks ago, I began to wonder what "She was just like pumpkin pie" actually refers to. When I think of American Pie, my mind plays wild figuring out what he could really mean. :'D
But I think just like GF or EBBY for Avril, Pumpkin Pie isn't about Evan's true experience. Looking at his tweets about him being extremely shy and having no sex and so on, I just can't imagine him as a "player in a west coast town". I know, people change, but ... no. xD

I follow him on Twitter sometimes... he's a pretty funny guy. Some of his posts have really made me laugh. Others are a bit sad Don't think he's interested much in doing his own music anymore, it could just be because of all the politics involved with being a music artist especially in pop, but who knows. I don't know. He did post once about how he has an eating disorder. I know him and Avril still get along and she misses him, but maybe things that happened between them also affected his desire to make music as well. Who knows, I'm only guessing at things I don't know about. Otherwise, he's a strong artist with great talent. I really enjoy some of his music and his collaborations with Avril... Hope he does more.

I also really like Welcome to the Blacklist Club. I love his song Evan Way. Its sad that he's not making music anymore but I love following him on Twitter and IG.
