The Pokémon GO thread

Well, I've been playing but not in a serious matter. More like 'I'm a bit bored, let's see if one's sitting in the garden'. (and yes, I've got 9 or 10)

I played for a while and got some good Pokemon, but after the last update it appears that they deleted my account. I tried logging in with the same email and everything but it just leads me to make a new account. Since then, I deleted the app and don't really see myself getting it again as I don't really feel like starting over.

I grew up with Pokemon and always loved the original Gameboy game (blue and yellow versions!) but I'm not inclined to download this game. A friend of mine at work plays it so I learned anything I wanted to know about it from him, but to me, it just honestly seems like a waste of time. I'm sure it's fun but there's just so many other things I would rather spend my time on. Not to mention, as oneofmylies said, it eats up battery life and data. I'll pass.

I've managed to catch 3 pokemans that happened to stumble near my house. I'm too lazy to actively search for them.

I missed the whole Pokemon thing growing up, never having seen/played it before. I think when it first became a thing here years ago I was probably out skating and not spending much time indoors watching cartoons/playing games

So I've no interest in playing this version, but you know, each to their own and whatnot.



I think most of my knowledge of Pokemon comes from being a fan of Jessica Nigri

I never play it but my nephew is addict in playing pokemon.

in Madrid (Spain) some people looks like zombies in search of pokemons.
I don't like this.
