I wouldn’t blame her if she just wants the tour to be over at this point. So much has gone on recently it must be mentally exhausting

Oh wow all 3 Vienna shows cancelled over a planned terrorist attack. I know everyone’s safety has to come first but I’d be absolutely heartbroken if that was my show. I had front tickets for the first one, and yeah, it sucks a lot! Btw, I was on BBC radio earlier today to comment it (don't ask me how hahah), but now I can't listen to it because it's geoblocked! D':

Knowing Taylor she will find a way to make it up to the fans for sure, they probably unfortunately won’t reschedule the shows unless the threat is truly eliminated, but maybe Vienna gets first stop on the next tour or something. Taylor will definitely plan something special to make it up to the fans.

I’ve been listening to loml a lot recently - it’s one of my faves from TTPD (I love a depressing and angry song lol my fave combo!). It’s one of her best songs ever lyrically imo. from “you shit talked me under the table” onwards is just perfect

They are showing her concert film for the first (and probably only) time on free TV in Austria. It's also a public channel, so it's not like they paid millions to Disney to show it. That's a nice gesture for fans in Austria.
The more information come out, the better it was to cancel the shows. The security for her London shows will be crazy (but they might also be more experienced). All in all this feels like a very weird time.

I’m listening to The Anthology for the first time in a while and omg what a yawn fest lol. I mean it’s all very well written lyric wise but only a handful of these songs should’ve seen the light of day imo

Imgonnagetyouback is also kind of boring by her standards and I don’t see how it even fits the album, it’s so pop. Unpopular opinion but I find How Did It End boring too. That being said, there’s tons of gems too like I Hate It Here, The Prophecy, The Manuscript, and Peter.

Oh god yeah Robin is so boring lol. The only ones I listen to fairly regularly are The Black Dog and So High School. There’s a few others I don’t mind listening to on occasion but honestly I could leave at least 50% of the album
The main album however is fast becoming one of my favourites!

How Did It End, The Albatross are THE songs on the Anthology for me, but I Hate It Here and maybe Peter are good too. The rest is boring. The Manuscript is well written but I can't listen to the boring sound.

The Manuscript seems like a spoken word song, it's so boring and impossible to listen to for me. Same with The Prophecy and I look in people's windows. I cant stand her way of singing on those songs. And Robin is the biggest snooze...
I do love How Did It End?. Especially the bridge. The D.Y.I.N.G gets me every time. I also really like Peter and So High School. The Bolter has a nice melody and sounds very Fearless-y to me.
There are some really good lyrics on I Hate It Here but it's too boring to listen to. So many songs from The Anthology but also TTPD sound so same-y and many also talk about the same topic over and over again. I hope the next album will be a bit more organised/curated, so that only the best and most original songs make the cut. Not every song she wrote...

I agree, it's nice she writes a lot and wants to share it all but I was already happy with a 12-14 song album. Some people aren't satisfied anymore with an album that contains 12 songs because of all those huge albums. And yes Robin is an instant skip song for me, I Look In Peoples Windows seems like a filler. I do like I Hate It Here, the lyrics have won me over but the sound wasn't my cup of tea. I do listen to it but not that often.

I have to ask because it’s been allllll over Twitter the last few days - why do so many people in the US care so much about what Taylor (or any celebrity) says about politics? I keep seeing like “celebrity endorsement” and people have been crying out for Taylor to post. Why?! Are people letting celebrities, who aren’t remotely relatable to the average person, dictate their vote? I don’t understand. It’s completely not a thing here in the U.K. In fact every time a celebrity talks on politics here everyone’s like ok you’re a millionaire we don’t care shut up 😅

It’s completely not a thing here in the U.K. In fact every time a celebrity talks on politics here everyone’s like ok you’re a millionaire we don’t care shut up 😅 I never got it either and honestly if you’re only voting for someone because your fave celeb is, you shouldn’t be voting at all. But in the case of Taylor I think it’s a bit more extreme because of her power and influence. A lot of people think she has the power to sway the election because of her influence on young people, who tend to vote more liberal. She has also consistently posted about registering to vote, so more young people are becoming registered voters, which again equates to more liberal voters. She just now had to officially come out with her endorsement due to Trump using an AI of her falsely endorsing him, so she kind of had no choice but to clear it up who she plans to vote for. And I can see how with some celebs if it’s not immediately obvious who they’re voting for, it may paint them in a bad light. For along time Taylor was seen as like the perfect Trump supporter just for being rich and white basically, but this painted an obviously false narrative. It was pretty crucial for her own reputation to make it clear where her views lie. In general though, yeah idk why celebrity endorsement really carries so much weight. I think it’s just a rallying thing and a way to garner more votes from people that are either undecided or uninformed.
