Everybody was expecting from Xtina to have her huge comeback also, but we saw what happened. None of her singles charted, and she had a one-week era. My question is why did this happen to Xtina (which i don't like, never did) and how can Avril avoid a similar situation? They were pretty much in the same position. Huge early 00's icons with long breaks between albums, no big hits recently etc. Xtina's career is a total mess since "Bionic" (2010). The only semi-hit she had alone was Your Body and that's it. "Lotus" only had one official single and the sales were terrible. "Avril Lavigne" had 5 singles and HTNGU performed well. Avril's fanbase is still bigger than Xtina's one. Plus, Liberation is not the kind of album the GP could listen, not even her fans that didn't like it that much despite I find it as an interesting piece of work. Accelerate was a mess, it's not lead single material, Fall in Line is not a good song actually and the promo was non-existent. And Avril has the advantage that she's more global than Xtina, she's famous in Asia and Brazil which are big markets. |

I hope she can become a bit more relevant in Europe again. Just a top 20 all over Europe, there are some countries where she didn't chart during the self-titled era.  She to to somehow win Italy back. Perform on Sanremo again or something. |

Avril has a huge nostalgia aura. When I was on holiday this past week, I've talked a lot about Avril to my friends, they were all excited about the news of the new album release in September, and they were all wondering where she had been... so I'm pretty sure Avril will be more successful than Xistina, beside I do hope she'll come to Italy  |

I would love for her to come to South Africa for the AL6 tour, but that won't happen.... We are not near enough to other countries in which global artists can tour and make money to make it viable for them to tour here. Thats my theory anyway. They all come only once or if not that only if they are like massive at that point. I never even went to watch her when she was here for the Bones tour.

I love that she's so hands-on this era. She clearly knows exactly what she wants. I feel like part of the reason the album took so long was because she knew what she wanted and was willing to wait for it and the label supported that (like getting the producer she wanted) and she wasn't going to make any compromises like the last 2 albums. How have I got 19 likes on this!? *floored* I've never gotten 19 likes on anything!!! lmao

Most artists/bands call it europe when they mean UK, France, Germany, Spain - sometimes Netherlands and Italy So i mean if she at least tour one of those countries, we should start saving up monry and free days from work  But i dont think she will put it to consideration, even if she got married in France (since dhe then ldft the guy) |

But BMG artists are going there so letโs see I would like to know when normally artists do the tour after releasing an album (or I avrils case) because I will be living in China so there's a high chance I can go to her tour, But I won't be there forever because next summer I need to head back to Spain, anyway as far as I remember she normally does the first branch of the tour in Asia right ? I just don't think she's ever coming to Spain anymore. |

This era has been a rollercoaster so far lol. Iโve been excited, Iโve been more excited, Iโve been pissed off, Iโve been bored, Iโve been excited again, Iโve been bored again, Iโve been annoyed again, now Iโm just absolutely buzzing and canโt believe itโs FINALLY so close - for real this time. I get so bored of her between eras and I rarely listen to her past albums but then when thereโs new music this close I remember sheโs my absolute fave artist and I CANNOT WAIT.
