I always thought Avril's relevancy's the same as Maroon 5's lol Maroon 5 have always had at least a major hit every era though, and they've been basically carrying pop music with Girls Like You amongst all the hip-hop in the top 10 this summer |

Does anybody else worries that with this album she might not be as successful as usually in Asia (with the more serious/ballads kind of sound). Every hit she had in Asia(besides "Alice")...it's more upbeat/fun...like ""rock n roll".

No, rap music is dominating in my country but we also love some ballads for sure, plus Avril, as we all know, is well received here in asia in my opinion most people here in PH knows more 'drama/serious/ballad' type of Avril songs (particularly from LG to TBDT era) than the pop/fun type major radios stations in here play all types of music depending on the relevancy, i think |

Hasn't anybody thought of the possibility that maybe this fuzz about September is just the announcement of the single and that we won't get it til October? I hope not. Plus, she's recorded the video, so the single must be only two or three weeks away, but it gets me thinking nonetheless...

Regarding the tour, if Simple Plan managed to do a three year long tour between their new album AND the anniversary of their first album, I'm pretty sure Avril can do a world tour too. She just needs to play in smaller venues.

Omg! I've got nothing worthwhile to post... I like her white dress in the music video. I guess it's a similar outfit to the one she wore when she made the album cover of GL .... which coincidentally is my favourite album of hers. Yes, I like the way this is progressing.

She just needs to play in smaller venues. The most Avril tours is 1 1/2 yrs. It would be great if she toured smaller venues in sporiadic days. Do a mini acoustic tour in certain cities. OR she could do a promo acoustic tour then get on to the real arena tour. I think GaGa did a bar tour as promotion for her last album. |

Avril has a huge nostalgia aura. When I was on holiday this past week, I've talked a lot about Avril to my friends, they were all excited about the news of the new album release in September, and they were all wondering where she had been... so I'm pretty sure Avril will be more successful than Xistina, beside I do hope she'll come to Italy This! She had a huge impact on the whole generation, that now are adults and have money at least. Seems like they still have a soft spot for her in their hearts (my case actually). I’ve been to a bar recently and they played 3 Avril’s songs in one hour!!! I was shocked haha I want this comeback to be huge just because I want her to visit my country again, so I would be able to go to her show, in spite of everything Oh, and new generation consider her as ‘new school mom’ or something like that (: and there two songs had been released last month where she was mentioned (in my country). |

The only thing I'm interested now is how would she announce the name of the new single because doing it through an IG/TW/FB post would be so meh. I'm expecting some kinda video at least. I don't know how do artists nowadays announce their new music. I know some do it through their media but I think that for Avril has to be different since she's been out of the scence for years and her comeback is way too big for what it seems, judging for the mv she's been preparing and how their are keeping everything as a secret except for the BTS from the video. Of course I do believe she will tour and that she will keep making music. She said some time ago that she wanted to have a career like Madonna so, she still have a long way to go. 3 more days until august is over and she's been telling some great news on Saturdays. I don't want to be anxious but I feel like each day of September will be endless until she announces something!
