I guess I'm not going to tell you a big surprise when I say that it was the first CD I've bought, and I was 9 years old then. In another thread I've mentioned that at that time some girls in my class were heavily needled on me (only later did I know what they were doing was actually bullying). To the point where I come home from the worst class trip of my life, which - was a massive torture - in a camp beside the girls, I've just listened to the disc, but from there I felt. I remember sitting there in my room, I didn't want to talk to anyone and let the music heal.
Since then, in my view, Let Go Avril's most professionally assembled album. The music, the lyrics, the mood is all right, although I'll tell you honestly, I haven't listened to any song for years, because I've been overlistening to it all. Let's say, for me, for me it's ot as fresh, as here most of the forum people, I think it's very early 2000's, but it stays in its professionalism. An eternal classic.
The other reason I think I wouldn't even listen is that I think it was Avril's least avrillavigne album. With 5 discs behind her, knowing her musical style and expressiveness, her mindset — though new era has come with Let Go in the music industry and our lives — is the feeling that, apart from the added attitude, Avril had little to do with songwriting and processing.
My favorite songs about the disc: Complicated, I'm With You, TINS ​​and Too Much To Ask (which is damn, so underrated, guys !!)

Nevertheless, I think Let Go was made by Avril Lavigne into what it was. No one else would have worked this way.
